Even though it was concept and it was not done in the movie, will the Arcee triplets combine?

 

Either way his size will really only matter compared to Soundwave, since as far as the mini-characters go, size has been all over the place, Igor was in scale with Megs, Scorponok was in scale with Blackout relatively, and the mini dinobots are sort of in scale with Drift- but Igor is way too huge compared to Scorponok, for instance.

Of course those have either been included with leaders or in a special three pack with drift, so I assume Soundwave may not be in the "large" deluxe class like Ratchet or Lockdown, I would hazard a guess that he will be close to SS01 Bee.

 

If they're revealed today, that would be an excellent question for the panel if they don't address it either way.

 

They’re missing tftm megatron

 

I feel Soundwave will be a bit bigger. Maybe about between Bumblebee and Ratchet height. I guess I'm going to have to pick up the ROTF legends Ravage to go with him and Laserbeak.

I'm actually really excited for whatever this new Bumblebee is. I hope it's the 2007 Camero but I'd be fine with a ROTF or DOTM Camero too.

Also with the idea of an Arcee three pack as a deluxe this makes me think they could probably do a Skids and Mudflap two pack since they were pretty small compared to the other Autobots. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think they were smaller than Jazz so I think with that in mind they could do a two pack. I'd like to have their Chevy Beat and Spark versions but I wouldn't be opposed to the Ice Cream Truck version.

You are not wrong re: the Twins. I have suspected that we would see something like this: smaller characters released in deluxe price point multi-packs. It was either that or move Studio Series into the Micro/Battlemaster price points.

So yeah, Arcee triplets make sense. Skids and Mudflap makes sense as a pack. The Kitchen Bots too. Although with the exception of Mowhawk, I don't know if there are a lot of small scale bots left...well, I guess Squeeks but I don't see them being packaged together AND Squeeks got a pretty solid toy.

But I think the trend of the minibots coming with other bots will continue. Look at DOTM Soundwave and Lazerbeak. I bet there will be a ROTF Soundwave too that will come with Ravage. I definitely think TFTM Megatron will come with Frenzy at this point.

That does raise the question of Wheelie, Brains and "Alice". I could see Brains coming with Galvatron, especially if he's a Leader price point. Maybe Wheelie could come in a Skids/Mudflap pack. But "Alice"...I can't think of who she could come with at this point. Maybe Grindor? Or pop her with Soundwave too. Hell, I like to think she's actually Rumble.

Go with me on this: There is no way that she was called "Alice" on Cybertron. That's just her disguise's name! That would be like calling Optimus Prime "Peterbuilt". And her robot looked a lot like Frenzy. So yeah, Rumble.  

 

Beside Grindor replacing Scorponok in Blackout, I also saw someone recommend putting Alice with Sideways. Being my headcanon-Rumble, it’s only fitting that she comes with the twin of the guy her partner Frenzy comes with.

Doubt Brains will be with Galvatron.
If Hasbro wants to make cash off of these "minibots" Brains would definitely be with Leadfoot along with Frenzy just for the sake of making it a Target Exclusive with a background of when they are fighting Shockwave.

Alice would probably be with Bumblebee just because of the scene where bee said she's a super freak lololol.

I would\'ve been ecstatic if it was BB Soundwave. DotM Soundwave is a guant \"meh\" from me. I\'m curious to see what they do with the Arcee triplets considering how awful their movie designs were. Yet another Bumblebee is beyond tiresome as well. Hopefully when they make the offical reveal there will be more to get excited about.

Remains to be seen someone " claims " to have contacted hasbro about the leader Megatron. An its a universal studios style figure. Meaning Dotm body with his Rotf fusion cannon.
