I like street fighter..but I think this is silly.

The only way im looking at it as possible repaints of cool molds.

 

Now that I can clearly see them, these aren\'t bad.  They all work, though I do kinda wish they made Ryu/Ken redecos of the same mold and used Optimus for some other larger fighter.  Still I have to admit that I like the Optimus sculpt in those colors.  Would have liked to see a hair more retooling on the heads, but I suppose clever paints get the job done.The concept works too.  Devestation was essentially \'what if they fought less like military forces and more like street fighters with combos and special moves (and weapons, but work with me here)\'.

I\'m not going to bend over backwards but if one of my usual retailers gets them I\'ll put in an order for them. 

 

Just noticed that Primes Chestplate looks like Robo - abs here. Great mold choice lol

Stuff like this is why I miss AVP. They’d write a cool little story about the SF characters binary bonding with transformers and it’d be awesome.

Vega?

 

Vega is the original/Japanese name for the Shadaloo boss know as M. Bison in the US.

M. Bison in Japan is the Boxer we know as Balrog. This switch was done way back in Street Fighter II for fear that Mike Tyson would sue Capcom for the likeness.

Balrog in Japan is Vega stateside.

The fighting game community tends to use Dictator, Boxer, and Claw to reduce confusion with the name swaps.

 

in japan bison was vega, vega was balrog, and balrog was m. bison (m. tyson get it?)

they swapped the names for the usa so mike tyson wouldn't sue.

anyone calling him vega is waiving a weeb flag right now.

These are... head-scratchingly odd. Neat, and definitely a peanut butter / chocolate combination for me, potentially not even the weirdest mashup we've seen for either property, but... odd.
