I'm still trying to figure out exactly where the spoiler goes in robot mode. He looks nice, but I need more pictures of him so that I can understand the sculpt a bit better. I'd also like to make sure that the translucent plastic is on the outside of the legs and not in any of the hinges. I'm already worried how the Siege Prowl mold will hold up in the future because of that.

The spoiler on the back? I believe that's on his upper arms/Shoulders. It's the nose of the car that's bugging me. I'm wondering if the translucent lower leg folds down over it?

I actually really like the look of Mirage a lot, though that might be the fact I don’t own the classics one speaking. He looks very solid, though I’m not keen on the way his spoiler halves hangs off his arms. The car mode is a bit chunky looking for an F1 car, but it’s not terrible and I imagine the huge spoiler will probably look and feel better in person. Hopefully anyway!

As for Impactor, i reckon he looks good too. Obviously the hollow legs are a bit unfortunate compared to some of the other siege figures, but he looks pretty sizeable for a deluxe. Hopefully he doesn’t look *completely* dodgy with my 2013 Gens Springer and Roadbuster, else my Wreckers crew building will be for naught.

Looks like Mirage could get some arms crossed posing or two-handed gun posing with those shoulder joints. Awesome!

Yeah, you can see the split cockpit on his outer calves but where do those projecting front wheels and nose spoilers go? I am confounded!

That's because he turns invisible and is sneaky so the Decepticons can never hit him, so he shouldn't have any damage. (Or possibly because he's actually a traitor that works for the Decepticons, just can never trust that guy).

Can't get battle damaged if nobody can tell that you haven't even gone out to fight.

So far to me, Mirage is shaping up to being one of my top 3 favorite Siege DLX's and I was never even that big on him growing up.

1)Ironhide (now with 3P leg extensions and gap fillers)
    2)Either Sideswipe or Mirage
    3) Same^^^^
    4)Flywheels
    5)Sixgun
6)Impactor (should be a Voyager but not as bad as people complain he is)
    7)Refraktor
8)Hound (I passed on him but he's not bad, just like 2.0 better)
    9)Red Alert
    10)Brunt
    11)Cog
    12)Prowl
    13)Chromia
    14)Barricade

Sideswipe, Prowl and Hound should've both come with Silver handguns to.

I like this Mirage. The hinges near the arms that allow for "butterfly joint" posing are great too.

@barry Sudden mad idea: the front wheels and fins are on a central spine that locks out the waist for car mode and they end up inside that faux chest maybe?

I dig the robot mode. Alt mode does look kinda funky but I suspect my overall appreciation for the figure will increase a lot once I actually hold it in hand. Like Prowl.

Prowl, Hound, Sideswipe and... Mirage! I like how that’ll look on my display! (Let’s not forget Red Alert, Ratchet and the two Datsun Bros either!)
