And again, maybe I'm just biased cause I live in Japan...but think about that magazine that hit the stands here a few days after SDCC. A Japanese mazgazine (yes, people still buy and read magazines in Japan) isn't going to print that kind of detailed write up with beautiful photos and interviews, and then at the very end tag on "Oh by the way...unless 8000 people in another country buy this in one month, you'll never get it." That would be just insane. Now let's say there's an America-only release. There's lots of them. They'd probably print a small picture with a blurb that says "Look at this cool toy that was released at Botcon in America....go online and try to get one if you can!" and that would be it. But for them to have THAT level of promotion for something entirely contingent on JUST American buyers? I can't see that ever seeing print.
