Nah. Just a divinely comedic TROLL.
Oh for sure! I can totally understand it too, though the "concentrated kibble" is just what I personally prefer. Yeah I shouldn't say it's just Hasui--maybe more of the realistic/"modernized" aesthetic in general, which they were still evolving away from a bit by the time Ironhide hit.
Man, Takara designs have really gotten off track in my opinion. So much kibble, overly complicated transformations, over reliance on fake parts, overly plain looks to their designs, and crazy prices.
I'm throwing it , since I can really see much , looks like the front tires end up in the back of the foot, or heel spur.
Minibot alt mode will always look out of place next to carbots because of their size.
Might as well be chibi and pretend they're something from a amusument park.
It looks so natural, way better than what i expected.
Definitely liking it much more seeing it, i hope paying in AJ price at the 30% discount is good choice.
Crazy prices? Yeah, for me it’s on the expensive side but it’s not completely unreasonable, at least in comparison to MP-44. You say there’s so much kibble but they’ve been pretty clean with it from the top of my head, there’s definitely noticeable kibble, but it’s not excessive.
I don’t really see what’s wrong with complicated transformations and faux parts. Sure, if complicated transformations aren’t engineered smartly and cause annoyance. But because it’s simply complicated? Meh. One of the fundamentals of this line is complex engineering which brings innovations to other lines by TT and what they can do with these characters, also showcasing their ingenuity with their craft.
There is a reliance on fake parts but there’s no overreliance IMO. They’re necessary to achieve toon aesthetic which is TT’s direction with this line now, it’s been this way since MP-22 so they’ve been off track from Hasui designs for a long time now, not sure why people keep bringing this up after so long - point of comparison I suppose.
Not to beat a dead horse, but the feet look wonky.......
There're three type of people.
Those like option A without bothering to think/talk about other option.
Those can't stop thinking/talking about the other option that they don't like.
Those appreciate all options.
Guess who's the loudest of all.
120......for a V2 MP21 and alot of little humans?
No thanks. Very easy pass.
I thought there was just one little human coming with this?
Spurs? Those are heel peninsulas.
As I’m not crazy about the original MP Bee, and since my copy came with an unsightly gap along the side of his face, I’m probably in for this.
Damn, I'm going for this. I can't wait for Cliffjumper.
This Bee will start a new trend o reversed duckfeet kible! Takara project manager was like “US fandom was crazy about our MP Sunstreaker and Hot Rod backpacks, can we make it vanish from the robot back???”. Takara designer then “hold my beer!”...
I’d rather they do it right first time and not keep remaking characters for Masterpiece. If they succeed or fail with their first attempt, let it go and move on. Other characters need attention too.
Looks like they are continuing that trend with Bee v2- all faux parts. Guessing they will continue the inside out “transformation” schemes
Can’t wait for clearer pictures! I’m so exited about Bee!!!
Amazing how he’s holding his gun with both hands! Incredible!
TT has truly defined articulation on a transforming figure! Insane!
I think there is more kibble then there has to be. V3 Prime for example has a more kibble then either the MS or TE Prime. It feels like they are trying too hard. Like on the TE and MS legs for example they simply flip inside out on both to hide the wheels in bot mode, but on the Takara one theres fake bits from the cab getting involved and all kinds of stuff. As for fake parts... sometimes it can't be helped, but like at what point does it become too much? I just think it cheapens the transformation to use it too much.
Im pretty sure he's just holding the gun in one hand and cupping that hand with the other, something perfectly possible with many existing figure both official and third party.
