So after weeks of not touching Hound, I've decided to take a look at Bee...



Not sure if this was there before, but man what a bummer... 

 

Aw man that sucks. Especially after seeing all the cracked Hounds (and getting one myself).

 

how's the weather at your place ?
because i display both my bee and hound in glass cabinet since with a cool temperature room , no additional crack since the last time i touch them

What is the difference between the 1st edition / run and the Black sleeve USA version? I can't seem to find anything online that explicitly shows the comparison?

 

There is no difference with the black sleeve version. That’s simply an extra box with English that Hasbro puts over the Takara box.

 

I also posted a different configuration ages ago but you'd have to go looking...

I got my MP-45 reprolabel set yesterday and applied the clear blue windows as well. I think it looks great. I didn't really have an issue with the clear windows except I didn't like seeing Bumblebee's "cleavage" (LOL!) through it in robot mode. It's still visible through the tinted window, but less prominent now. If a cheap KO of MP-45 is ever available I'd be tempted to pick one up so I can use up the cell shaded stickers from this set as well. 

 

A big thanks to @Hans for recommending these blue windows from Toyhax! This guy is now complete. I can't believe what a difference it makes. I am a purist and was really reluctant to add these, but they look great. I also did the alternate transformation for the feet (not that it bothered me) and I think that also is a big improvement.

Despite the price being too high (like all recent MP releases), I have enjoyed this Bumblebee quite a bit. Definitely looks the part in both modes for me.

 

Glad you like them too! I consider myself a purist too, but sometimes I do believe Takara needs some.... help to improve these figures and make them the best they can be. So I did add the upgrade kits to Ironhide and Ratchet to make them more cartoon accurate and I added the dashpeg to Wheeljack to make that unsightly screw disappear. And I was glad we got the chance to make Bee's windows blue, since that is what all other recent Masterpiece figures have...
