Haha, it worked! You don't even have to say what you want, I can figure it out from the compliments!  

In fact I have not done Detritus yet! I'm really anxious to do it with his bonkers colors, and almost started, then I thought I'd hold off to get some nice clear high res images of that toy rifle. But now it seems like that's disappeared again and who knows when they'll show it again, so maybe I'll just upsize the original toy gun or skip the gun (for now).

Am I the only one who would kill for a Marvel comics redeco of MP-45? I know it will never happen, but I always loved his yellow boots in the comics. I had a quick go at a digibash myself, although I don't have @chchchch's skills:

Also do you have any plans to do any customs based on MP-45?  

 

Do it! I'd love to see yours as I'm sure it will be a lot cleaner. And no plans at the moment. If I had the skills, I'd love to create a Marvel version, but I think that would really need yellow plastic for the shins rather than grey plastic painted yellow, because of the potential chipping. It's a shame @Sam is no longer around, as he had some cool plans for a Cybertronian version using parts from a flying sub kit, and I'd love to see that.

 

Alrighty you got it, Marvel Bumblebee is back on the queue!   Good point on the shins, I hadn't thought about that. I also was really looking forward to Sam's custom, I'm hoping he still does it eventually and at least returns to share photos. Haven't heard from him very recently though  

 

That’s epic man. Bumblebee is a great base to work on. Lot of good and easy shapes.

 

Last one (as far as historical G1 toy accurate versions go   )...the rare black variant of a Japanese exclusive 7-11 keychain (if I understand correctly). Bumblebee's just back from filming an ultimately deleted scene as Batman's replacement vehicle in The Dark Knight!

 

I’d probably actually put that on a key chain. Gives him an edgy but badass chain stuck to him in robot mode.

 

That would be an amazingly expensive keychain!

Ha, yeah that's true...the back fender. So on the original, it would be on his shoulder in robot mode...on MP-45, it would end up folded up into his back somewhere! I'd have to watch a transformation video again to see if it would even be exposed or not!

 

Since Hasbro is doing Marvel figs now, would loose my shit if they did a MP Marvel Legends line with their comic color schemes. I didnt even read the comics (with the exception of TF vs GIJoe in the grocer line. Didnt get past the part where the Joes blew up Bumblebee).
