Indeed. Although honestly I don’t really use it that much. It’s surprising how I don’t agree with some people on one thing yet agree on others. It’s a cool bit of insight into who they are. I think it’s just as powerful if not better to ignore intentionally rather than get rid of someone from your view.

For me it's not so much what opinion people hold but more how they choose to express it. Once you keep coming back into threads being negative for negativity's sake it gets old real fast.

I have zero issues with opposing opinions. Heck, that's part of what makes this hobby so wonderful! We all have different tastes and between HasTak & 3rd parties there's such a ridiculous number of toys that there's something for everyone!

Let's just appreciate how incredibly lucky we are that we get to enjoy this marvelous hobby!

"Grow a thicker skin" is a fallacy wherein we place the impetus on those doing nothing wrong (or who happen to be for any reason vulnerable to the effects of those who are) to be the ones who change rather than those engaging in incivility or toxicity. At best it places the burden for change on those who have done nothing wrong. At worst, in cases where the people negatively affected are vulnerable or marginalized as a result, it's gaslighting.

I hear this all the time online and I'm very weary of it, frankly. When you're doing nothing at all but happily and civilly participating in a discussion and get insulted left and right because someone else is having a bad day or simply doesn't share your totally subjective personal opinion, the onus should not be on you to "grow a thicker skin." The onus should be on the community and its mods to call out bad behavior and correct it.

And failing that, the ignore option is a perfectly valid way to handle it. And failing that, leaving a community entirely is as well. I don't blame @Sam one bit if that's the case, and I may follow suit frankly. The internet in general simply isn't fun anymore. And if we're not having fun discussing our plastic robots, what's the point?

That isn't giving up. The hobby can be enjoyed perfectly well in isolation, too. Maybe even more so, without all the drama and toxicity.

Ok, enough discussions about opinions and what-not. This thread is ultimately about MP-45, and while a little off topic stuff is fine, I think we’ve all had enough at this point and aren’t really getting anywhere.

No point spinning our treads in the mud any longer.

Love that @Sam 's outstanding photos show off this guy's premium pose-ability, how tight and well balanced he is (one legged run!), and that he has a neck that wasn't as evident in promo shots but really make this guy look as handsome as G1 cartoon Bumblebee is gonna get.

@Sam is so postive and encouraging of other people's photos, that sometimes it's pretty easy to forget he takes some pretty good ones himself. :)

Why the hell don't I have that Shocky yet? Oh, I remember. My local retailer screwed me over and never actually got it in stock. (Megalopolis, don't buy from them if you can avoid it).

Waiting on an eBay Flash sale to get this one eyed good for nothing soldier.

    On topic,

Bee looks amazing, all that amount of articulation on such a small package.

I also waited and and got him during a 15% eBay flash sale! In hindsight I'm glad I did that, though if had known how great the toy was beforehand I don't think I'd have been able to wait!

Maybe he'll be the first +/ mall exclusive the reissue. He's sold out at TTM and I don't think I've seen one up for sale at yahoo jp with out an increased cost. Other cool fact Bee orders have sold out at TTMall. Some how I will laugh my butt off if Bee ends up with a 5 star rating.

That Amazon JP e-mail had me excited he was releasing early. Curse you Amazon JP.

I ended up getting a slightly damaged MP-29+ for like 75 bucks. His foot ratchet is busted but he poses 100% fine. Managed to sell my MP-29 and keep the lighter solid color hands and cannon attachment, and now I have my perfect Shockwave. I also added some yellow paint to the eye to improve it.
