I'm sure AJP will follow suit shortly. No reason for other major exporters to change the date and not them. They're all sourcing the product from the same place(s) ultimately. (Unless AJP got some of those boxed preproduction products people have been getting their hands on and are going to sell them, which would be shady as hell and unlikely lol.)

My hope is the situation with MP-44 (which, I know is contentious, but based on the numbers in the fix topic, the retailers sending people there, and AJP straight up removing MP-44's listing - not just out of stock, removed entirely - which apparently based on past precedent means they got too many returns) has made them take a closer look at the QC and do more in-hand testing of final products for issues before release to avoid having to incur costs of customer support and future run fixes.

After all, lest people forget, TT's primary market is Japan. Unlike the export market, they *do* service people in their primary market, so it's in their interest there to minimize the amount of after sale support they have to provide. And MP-44 was clearly a big expenditure for them based on its list price alone, let alone just looking at it, the engineering and R&D that went into him. To say nothing of the egg on their faces that their flagship masterpiece having such issues might constitute. So I have to imagine they don't want to make a habit of such potentially costly errors. Perhaps they are tightening things up before releases now.

One can dream, at least. (Though, by all accounts Bee has no real issues thankfully. So maybe that's not it.)

This ties in with what Tfs-express told me a few weeks ago, that I posted here. At that time it was a possibility of delay. This was straight on receiving MP44 (I didn't get the t-shirt that others got from them, so they said they would send it out in my next purchase, which was MP45), if nothing else it means the QC with 44 wasn't directly responsible - unless TT knew on shipping that Prime had issues but shipped anyway...

I highly doubt so. They should have learned with rodimus. But as long as fans buy everything, they will continue to do what they do.

Yeah I got an email from amiami too. The good thing about the delay, is he can be shipped with Blackarachnia and save on shipping..

Wonder if this means they'll delay Blackarachnia and Hound now too.
    I hope not!

I hope not, I've felt rather MP starved since MP-43 came out...3 months late. I guess delays on MPs are pretty common to be fair.

Noooooo! To delay by two months only a week before the release date is just... cruel. Gutted.

I believe Megatron was delayed for 2 months. Agree with the sentiment though. Delays are more common than I'd like. How commonplace are delays with other high end collectibles?

Just gimme my toys!!! *stamps feet*

Bah, Takara Tomy Mall has changed the date to November too:

    トランスフォーマー マスターピース MP-45 バンブル Ver.2.0

So that's pretty much definite. That's really poor. Fair enough if they have to delay it, but surely they must have known about the delay weeks ago. With only a week to go, they'd have hundreds of them boxed up and ready to ship to suppliers by now, so they must have known that wasn't happening a while ago. This is my most anticipated figure and I've been counting down to it, so a two month delay is hugely frustrating. Especially since there's then the question of whether to leave him for Christmas. Bah, first world geek problems!

Yeah it was 2 months, it just felt like 3 ;)

I'm not sure how common they are but I recently had a month delay on a MAFEX figure... so it happens.

So yep, it's official, and Amazon will no doubt send out an email later. They don't even give a reason. This totally sucks. Late November... I guess it will be my Christmas present, then.

The first person to say, "Oh this is good news, it saves my wallet" can go straight to the naughty seat. :)

This is strange. But color me not surprise if the amount of return MP44 from mainland does affect something. We will see
