Even better. Stops any detergents that could be still stuck to the cotton causing scratching or reactions.

But yeh, just not touching it is the best way around it.

Just noticed my signature is almost out of date, life comes at you fast.
I'll have to cook up a new one :D

One of the reasons I sold MP-28. What's the point in having an MP that you can't touch? 0 fun for me.
Chrome generally seems to be better these days. MP-36+ is solid.

I had HT items that deteriorated to shit, this is not isolated. Nothing lasts forever in pristine condition.

    Shocker, I know.

Not to say it doesn’t suck, but if that’s a problem, don’t ever touch them and keep them behind glass.

    You know, it’s funny.

My HT 1/6 ED-209 was kept that way,

When I finally opened it after 3 years the dome (made out of rubber) was GONE. It disintegrated.

    Anyway.

    That's why I said it's just cheaper.

If I were living in Hong Kong, I certainly wouldn't be buying so many Transformers:
    1. Space is crazy small over there.
    2. There's enough brick and mortal shops selling Transformers there, I can just pop over after work and take a look at the display case instead of buying the figures.

Perhaps I should set up a TF "Museum" in the Bay Area and charge for entrance.

My wife suggested I open a store where you can play with open copies of toys. That way you don’t have to pay hundreds of dollars to hold it your hand

I guess I’d sell other things, but also have a “toy room” that people could fiddle with them

Lol, ya'll got jokes but collectors really do get anal.

I've been doing alot of research into spray on chrome this evening for an upcoming project I have.
It's a very niche field with varying results and finishes. I believe one of our members here did some restoration work on chrome and posted some information in the past. I hope the information below can be of help to some of you.
I've put in the time today to verify that they all work and don't just come out as silver.

The best products out there are as follows in no particular order.

    KColours Chrome paint 63'
    Alsa Easy Chrome
Alclad II - Used for the T-800's in Terminator Salvation.
Molotow - Liquid chrome pens' (apply with airbrush)
Spaz Stix - Ultimate Mirror Chrome'

They should be applied to a Tamiya Gloss Black basecoat.
(Original damaged chrome should be removed first with 95% rubbing alcohol.)

Lastly seal with a gloss clear coat: Alclad II Klear Gloss ALC310' appears to be the best solution that doesn't dull the finish.
(No, Future floor polish will not work this time.)

If anyone knows of an accurate paint match for Soundwaves silver feet please let me know.

That’d be cool. It’s the same feeling those people who do the TFcon reveal table. Just having fun showing off toys.
