Always a possibility. By no means definite. MP-36 wasn’t delayed (as well as a shitload of others).

 

No actual source but I'm trying to think of any new mold MP that ever came out without a delay for like 5 years now.

Huh I'll have to check MP-36 since I swear he got delayed. These delays have spread into the MPM and BW MP line as well.

 

Off the top of my head, those who were delayed by at least a month: MP-13, MP-17, MP-18, MP-20, MP-21, MP-24 (?), MP-25, MP-26, MP-34, MP-43.

There were more delays a few years ago, seems to have gotten better lately.

If that's true then maybe the G1 line has been getting its groove back. But wasn't Cordon just delayed at least once? Unfortunately I don't think MPM and BW MP fans can say the same. Those threads are honestly pretty depressing the moment it gets confirmed that there's a delay, because lately the figure has QC issues once it comes out anyway.

Don't think Cordon was delayed. A couple of others repaints were that I didn't mention (MP-18B comes to mind), but none recently that I can remember.

Apart from Cheetor being delayed by a month, the BW line is still doing ok for delays - considering it's only had four new character releases total. They did announce MP-43's delay a bit late, which does suck.

The MPM line's been a bit weird alright.

 

It seems new molds all get delayed as of late.

For Canadians like me, it's $425.

Yikes. This is just the worst month for a purchase like this, too...only until 21 Dec to decide if I'm truly in or out.

Since it's coming out in Aug I thought maybe they would extend the preorder window...nope.

Gonna be a tricky few days, put some serious thought into what message I'm sending Takara by picking him up. "I'm an addict" seems appropriate

Not sure. I kinda am going with the Devil I Know in this case, as I have yet to get tagged on customs from AE. Would solve the 'gotta pays it now' problem though.
