Cant say I never noticed. I never considered the MP-10 arms or boots too big but if that was the case wouldnt they offset each other aesthetically ? On the speedos I dont know what youre seeing and im afraid to ask...

i wasn’t planning on getting this anyway, so the price is irrelevant. I just hope this doesn’t herald an overall price increase for the rest of the MPs. I was anticipating Hound to come in at around $120. Now I fear it’ll be over $200.

Yeaaah. If this is where the price point is going for the MP line, I'm out.

    I was being silly.

You're seriously helping collectors figure out the financing options.

    :lol  How far we've come...

This is legit divorce material right here, at least in my case ... the misses bought me the Amazon exclusive Nemesis Prime on Cyber Mon for $30 and was having a shit-fit abt how I “never grow up, and waste my hard-earned cash on frivolous nonsense” ... she might legit have an aneurysm if she ever found out how much this costs ...

    I want a new thread:

"All these man-tears over MP44 breakage!"

Because @ $450, the transformation instructions better include a Bible. You'll be praying things go smoothly! :)

Emotionless as in they had no character personas or fiction until Hasbro came along and rendered pre-transformers mold uses moot. There was no Delta Magnus, Tigertrack, or Road Rage in 1984. Those characters were all built around the Transformers e-hobby reissue hype way way later on.

Really, all it took to get a front page headline listing these supposed accessories was "Weibo user 路人老板 has also shared..."? Good grief, guys.

Some of this sounds like SUCH deep cut fanwank bullshit that I'm not even going to react to it... not until either Takara themselves or a credible store comes out and confirms the full contents. But as of right now, I'm not putting any weight in what some anonymous f'ing Weibo user of all things is saying about a release that's still 8-9 months away.

The way I see it , Takara just priced a lot of people out of the market for this , myself included. Not complaining just stating my opinion.

There are plenty of action figures in this price range and above that I'd like to get, like the Fewture EX-GOKIN line, the Getter Robos I'd love to have, the SEN-TI-NELs are cheaper at close to $400 US, but even those are just too much for me. This fun little hobby of mine has got limits. Not like I don't have the money, but.... nope. I'm just not spending that kinda scratch on a toy.

The MP line is changing and might not be for me anymore and I've known that for a while, which is sad, but for those that are into this, yeah, go nuts, have fun. I'm sure it'll be a really cool piece/set.

This would be the one and only time I'd even consider a KO version of a figure while an official exists.
    ...just to experience the mold.

Why, will I be eating crow or something? My response would likely be: well holy shit, some anonymous Weibo user was actually correct.

Whether it ends up being true or not, I think any of us being skeptical 8-9 months in advance considering the "source" is more than justified.

Just glad to have MP-10 and can call it a day for my MP collection! The price of things have really just gotten out of hand.

I’m glad I decided to stop at G1 season 1 if this is the direction the masterpiece line is taking with its prices. I bought Cheetor and Primal, but stopped at Dinobot and Megatron because the prices were too high for me to justify the cost. I hoped the trend would stick to Beast Wars, but it seems like Sunstreaker’s higher price was a sign of things to come.

Regardless of price, the mold still looks amazing- May pick it up if it’s ever released in America for a decent price.
