Dreadwing and Darkwing are being made by XTB. There is an Overlord that is almost finished made by Fans Hobby.

Cyclonus and Scourge are a reality now.

Unfortunately not. This is a Japanese toy, and he'll have Japanese voice clips.

If we see a Hasbro release, then maybe they'll get Cullen voice clips. But it's a hard deal for Hasbro to get premium toys like this to market.

The Generations book is next month, so definitely we'll see something soon. I think this month it happens, makes for more of an incentive to pick the book ip.

Should I buy a book? What all is in it? I mean based on previous books of course. Can (if at all) I expect only a single spread of v3? Or do they focus on new stuff for at least a few pages? What was mp-36’s coverage like?

It's like every transformer for Takara that appeared in the magazines in the same place. Dinobot had 6 pages, Sunstreaker 4, Hot Rod 1 page, and all the other 2017 releases shared a page. Dinobot and Sunstreaker were the,MP headliners so they showed a sneak peek of some of the transformations process. The format is pretty similar to the magazines, some characters get more than others.
MP36 actually had sketches, we're probably see some of the early line work for Prime 3.0 I imagine.

Hopefully, there’s not a delay. I’m planning on a delay so May seems more realistic.

G1 Optimus Prime was born on September 17th. 1984 as the premiere episode of "THE TRANFORMERS" was syndicated across the country. He would continue to have his wildly popular exploits chronicled on syndicated television for the next year. In the late summer of 1986, on August 8th, "The Transformers; The Movie" debuted in some cinema houses across the country. Optimus was killed. He lived less than a full two years. His lifespan can be counted as a mere 690 days.

This very thread has now reached its 266th day. This thread already encompasses over a third of Optimus's total existence time, and is fast approaching the halfway mark.

Ah. I knew some wise guy would point that out though. But kindly compare Optimus' appearance as drawn in Marvel number one and compare it to TF cartoon episode one, and you'll see what I was getting at!

<fanboy gushing>This article blows me away every time I read it...it's obvious to me that Takara bends over backward to find every possible opportunity to work in subtle 3D detailing without violating the animation models, contrary to the arguments that they are being "lazy" or "cheap" with the toon-accurate designs. The design team also clearly does a huge amount of research and analysis when trying to capture the cartoon likenesses, so I'm sure every time a proportion is slightly off or another cut line has to be added, it was a hard-fought trade-off and not an oversight. This is not to say all of their output is perfect, but it's not for lack of trying. They have probably lost a lot more sleep over the size of Prime v3's backpack than any of us ever will ;)  .</fanboy gushing>
