It looks sweet G1 Sunbow style MP Optimus. Since I don't have any MP-10, I don't know whether I should wait for this figure to release or get any of the TRU MP-10, Takara MP-10, Hasbro MP-10, KO MP-10 or MPP-10. I am afraid that the price tag on Takara MP-10 3.0 is going to be high around 270$.

I was thinking how nice some color inside the chest would be as well. I also was thinking how nice it was going to be to have vibrant eyes (we know they’ll be painted this time I think) and then I was curious how they’d make the matrix vibrant like the animation. MP-10’s eyes (Takara of course) and matrix look rather dead. So I'm all for making these pop with paint. A light up matrix will be okay, but I think I’d rather have a special reflective paint or something along those lines.

 

The seekers almost certainly will be redone, they\'ve made a ton of loot already...

Doubt it, but, SOOOO far they\'ve released both of the other Star Scream figures with both the other Primes.  AND, they seemed to rush those darn coneheads out within a year or so if I recall.  Sneaky bastards....

 

I feel like they will sell but will also fail sense most are done buying mp seekers plus make toys is coming out and i think most are done buying them.

 

I’m personally hoping for Grimlock, Seekers, Rodimus Prime, and Sideswipe/Alert V2s. I don’t want them to take up releases for the next few years, but a remake every 2 years would be cool. Starscream at the very least needs a better toy. He was so expressive.

 

Ahhh, the Dino Bots would be no brainers.  Zero licensing, and could fill 2 or 3 years worth of release slots.  Easy money...

 

I own the Hasbro edition MP-10. While I love the figure, I'm kicking his monkey arm ass to the curb for this Ver. 3 cartoon accurate classic sunbow John Wayne slim design. This is the one for me. But the Hasbro is definitely the best MP-10 ver. In my opinion.

 

I got Hasbro MP 10 and its colors are awesome.

 

Not that I agree that V3 is one of these ‘classes,’ but someone in another thread likened them to the Popple stuffed toys. I thought it was cute, so it was easy to remember . So I guess they could be Popple-formers.

 

Maybe it will transform into armor like the Power Master toy. Or a jet like the Action Master toy.
Probably not, but I just have some potential ideas to any third party companies watching...

 

They are very impressed with the transformation as the goal was to have none of the obvious truck parts from the vehicle mode, show up in robot mode. Described to have a "startling" transformation. Has voice clips from the Japanese G1 voice actor of Convoy. More details to come.

 

I wonder if the transformation will be cartoon /toy accurate. That's something I liked about mp1, he retained the basics of the transformation.

 

Good question. I have a feeling transformation will be quicker than MP10(didn't read that anywhere, just a hunch on my part).
