Of course! Which is why they trust you when you say you don’t like something.

similar with me and robot kingdom. Thousands. Easily haha. They’ve only needed to refund black rodimus convoy for me. Damn things knees exploded right out the box. My MP-36+’s barrel snapped off mid-transformation and they asked if they could just send me a junker for free. I got half a figure a few days later and was able to cannibalize it. Really pleased when I feel like I’m being taken care of.

That is also because they know there are so many QC issues with that figure. And that there is little chance that you get a perfect one. So they don't want you to get one with bigger issues than you already have. Also never heard of that chrome problems though...

Sounds more like 18 -B, which had a paint defect you could only really see in the plastic blister. It was for the most part relatively unnoticeable outside the blister. You still had a ton of people trying to return theirs and basically dealers took the "it is what it is approach". Stuff like that kind of ruined it for returns/exchanges.

Looking more closely under magnification, it looks like the chrome came off. So if I decide to keep, it's going to be for repainting purposes. On a scale of 1 to 10 how hard would it be to remove the chrome bits to paint more like the toon(more of a white)? I see some are probably removable by screws, but others are pinned

It's probably easier to tape off the areas around the chrome and sand them for repainting.

    THE KING RETURNS!

By the way, is your Prime's waist wobbly and loose?

Anyone else having trouble with their Prime's left hip/thigh joint? I had to take the whole hip unit apart and tighten all the screws a couple months ago, but looks like I gotta do it again. While taking these latest pics it went completely loose, no ratcheting. I don't think anything's broken, but it's odd the screws keep going loose there.

Big thanks, Andy! But no dioramas here. You'll have to talk to @OptimusTimelord or @Agent 539 about that!

Yeah, my other copy is fine but I don't mess with him much, he's for the shelf. It's my deskbot copy that's having the trouble.

The waist/hip is wobbly/loose when it's unlocked, yes, but it holds a pose well enough. Might try to drip some Future in there. But it's the left thigh/hip joint is what's really giving me a bit of trouble on my play copy, apparently due to the screws coming loose. Gotta open it up again and find out!

If not future , try dabbing a bit of lock tight on them . Should work just fine.
