    Shows how messed up the pose in that specific animation frame is, though, since everything else is pretty much the same and yet he somehow has his back to the camera.

    I don't care what people say about prime.. I've only transformed him back and forth twice using manual.. By the third time, i can easily transform him without.. It's a marvellous experience.. Welldone Takara!

    Its been a while since I last posted on this thread! It's been slightly more than 4 months since I got this figure, and I figured that doing an update on it would be helpful for those who want to see if this figure is durable in the long run, so here it goes;
    When I first got it, it was a bit wobbly, and I was worried that it might get looser with time, but that's not the case! All the joints are just as tight as they were when I first took Prime out of the box.

    The Transformation is basically second nature to me now, and it honestly is really fun; somethings feel fragile, but no stress marks are there whatsoever. The biggest issue I'm having is the paint. When I first got it, there were already chips on the gray rib sections and face within the first few days, the orange on the headlights and the yellow on the crotch as well. However, with time the chipping is getting worse, even affecting the blue and red parts. I'm really delicate too, so it bums me out to see these tiny chips. I would include pictures, but I'm not really the best photographer.

    My honest opinion: Wait for a reissue. If you really wanted this figure, you probably would've got it already, but if you're still on the fence about buying it, wait for the second run. I'm sure Takara will fix the paint issues and wobbliness during the second run, just like they did with Megs. I think $550 CAD is a bit on the pricey side, but I don't regret the purchase at all. I think TE and MS are both wonderful figures, but honestly, after the reissue comes out, I think both would be made obsolete because MP-44 does what they do but better.

    Thanks for your update, I cancelled my 2 pre orders due to all the reports of broken knee joints and chipped paint. That said, this is still a toy that I still really want. I think I will wait for the 2nd release or the inevitable MP 44+ to get my copies. Hopefully the Q.C. gets tightened up with those. Till' then my Prime collection will be missing its centerpiece.

    QC and paint are definitely a concern. It's a beautiful piece, but I'm definitely hoping for a second run that's a little more sturdy.

    Im going to transform this bugger back to trucky mode at some point shortly. Where should I put the stuff that I think is future?
    Yellow bits, grey stripe, little lighty things on top of the cab. Any more? I'll probably switch his head from the brilliant S2 one to the weird squinty S1 head just to be safe.

    Count me as one of those that might bite if a second run has better paint. Funny, I was looking at my MP Sideswipe and Prowl earlier and I'm amazed at how well their paint has held up since I got them upon release. There's a sturdiness as well with the plastic that feels a million miles away from what we got with Hound.

    If qc is good and the knee ratchets have hard plastic instead of soft on the next run, I'm definitely in

    I would really love to get a plus version of this figure to go with my mp36+ Maybe the QC will be figured out by that release
