I think what you want can be made through iridescent paint on clear surfaces. Hopefully Takara tests it on a future release of MP-44

I don't want anything different than what the figures already have. I meant I'm happy with the real reflections and shadows that a 3D object has from its actual surfaces. Actual reflections on the clear plastic works fine for me, no need to cover them with an illustration of reflections. :)

Same here. Otherwise glad for those that like it, but "labels on MP's" are such a YUUUGE NO for me, it's not even funny. One of the reasons MP-29 simply didn't do it for me. Glad that was fixed for 29+.

The only exception to the rule was Ratchet, because really, what do you do?

I just had an MP-44 epiphany. You guys are probably over this, but I think I found something. For MY copy, his gas tanks stay clipped together better when you push his knee caps downward towards his feet when you’re changing him into truck mode.

To my knowledge, this doesn’t damage the knees at all and for some reason he doesn’t unclip when I move him like he usually does. If you’re curious just give it a try, it might surprise you if you’re OCD like me. Sorry, I know it’s been months now, but I’m just still exploring this guy!

Also, speaking of OCD, is anyone’s cab mode perfectly flat paneled on top, or do you have a little dip on top?

Nice finding. Will give that a try next time I transform him into vehicle mode!

I thought that was the trick all along cocking the knee back a click, for the gas tanks to align

I wish they had made some yellow and grey (or even clear) stickers to cover/protect the scratch-prone areas of Prime, but it's still a nice set.

Soooo Anyone want the rest of these reprolabels? I just wanted the shiny blue eyes and cel shaded bot mode... at least $20 of stickers left for any g1 toy enthusiasts who wants Truck mode labels. oh and yellow optimus eyes. All this at the low price of $free.99! My only requirement is that you post pics on here after applying them.

It’s yours! PM me and I’ll mail them over.

Oh while I’m mailing shit out, if anyone wants a free (+ cost to ship) SLA printed MP-44 starscream head connector for their howling meteor or (I think it’ll work with) MP-11, also pm me. I’ll mail em out all at once!

Isn’t it interesting? No idea yet why it works - maybe it tilts the whole leg section up just enough for it to line up perfectly? Glad it worked for you!

If only I had the change for a spare Prime, then I would definitely be in as a toy accurate version of this mold would make my day. IDK why, didn't come of age in the 80s, I just really dig the design. It's retro rather than nostalgic.

Just tried this to confirm it works. Son of a gun wouldn't you know it fixes that obnoxious untabbing issue quite nicely. Idk how I've missed this.
