Diecast thighs? Which ones?
Interesting. I tried the regular Red, and it was definitely too dark, which is why I went for the lighter Italian Red.
However, I've noticed some slight shade differences when I hand brush small details versus when I airbrush whole parts with lacquers on occasion, so that might have something to do with it.
Perhaps. Everyone paints their own way
Nevermind, I just pulled out Prime to scan it over. The thighs are not diecast. Also, the white part I mentioned earlier insde the upper body is plastic. I go back to the original statement of the waist section containing the only diecast on the body.
I just noticed that the trailer cannot turn all the way while hooked up to Prime or Roller. I realize this was probably done because of the rifle storage on Prime, but is there a way to unlock the rotation joint on the trailer? I want to have Prime perform a jack knife.
I already have the backpack ready, it certainly improves the robot mode a lot.
With the TE-01 and her fake ass.
What do you think?
Just push pass the resistance and Prime’s legs will split slightly.
Great figure but I think you're in the wrong thread. This thread is all about MP44. Maybe head on over to the the Movie Toys Appreciation thread in the Toys section
I just figured sonething out.
Everyone see the largest panel at the bottom of the legs, the one the wheel section rotates and shifts on, L shaped. That could have been a full square. The two panels in it's squared are didn't need to be there. The outer one could've gone, and the inner one that includes the red panel behind the wheel well could've just been part of the main side panels that fold into the legs, all that it would need to do is fold in next to the truck gas tanks in bot mode inside the leg. Lastly, all that tooth piece would need to do is fold in direction that's not downwards.
Also, is anyone else bothered by the inconsistent curve of the calf.
They could've just extended the top parts a bit.
Also, if the voice box wasn't a thing, the matrix could have hid in it's place in vehicle mode, covered by the same panels that would cover a flattened backpack.
Thus cleaning up the torso area, and maybe, even allowing for a bit of chest movement, but that's a stretch.
P.S. - Black Apple, if your reading this, please think about it.
Black Apple doesn't do G1. He's all about Bayverse.
A knock off MP-44 from them would br legendary.
I guess because the MPMs need it more.
Guessing it can't transform anymore though
Not bad! Personally don’t mind the original backpack though either though. Interesting mod.
Silly question, do you actually have an MP44?
No, but if I did, I'd be able to transform it with my eyes closed on my first try, like a deluxe.
I swear I've seen this before................ wait a sec
I’m just curious but are you a kid? Like high school or something?
11th, why do ask kind sir ?
You never know here. That’s why I don’t bother with the trolls. When I found out one of the posters on here was one of my freshman students (Hi Zak!) it put things in perspective for me. We could be arguing with 12 yr olds for all we know, and o would never do that in real life. Especially over toys. Hahaha
