No way thats so dope!!! Perhaps it was earlier.. I was only just born in 87 so I wouldn't know, I do know I probably got into Transformers at 2 years old.. They are my first toy memory aside from wooden blocks.
Didn't know they had it overseas too.. oh damn did a google.. she was cute back in the day.
One of my sad childhood memories was when DJ Kat came on and only Inspector Gadget with no more G1 Transformers... No explanation, no nothing..
40 today is like 30 of yesteryear... you're still young haha

Damn! That would be amazing.. Him and Welker usually have a signing fee if I'm not mistaken right.
If I was there I'd get his signature on the box and under Primes foot like Woody from Toy Story.

Back ontopic: I was thinking its a shame the magnetic floor on the trailer doesn't lie behind the stripe on the outside. Could have been a cool opportunity for a magnetic sticker to give the trailer a DIACLONE or the G1 toy sticker on a + repaint.

I'm not sure about that. The ankles function normally even when this piece is removed.

However this can happen. This is more likely a stop.

Maybe they wanted to prevent seeing all that ugly red behind the feet.

After messing with him and transforming him back and forth a couple times over the past few days (finally got the cab mode perfect last night), I can safely say that any criticisms I might have had with him upon first getting him are mostly gone. He's just so...beautiful. MP-44 has successfully won me over guys. TE-01 had his day but it's time for him to step aside.

I second this. The rest of Prime is plastic. Diecast would have been a terrible design choice for the rest of that figure.

Alright guys, I have a theory on how the knees may break; I think My knee broke right after I tried to angle it in the vehicle mode. I'll look into this later, but for now,
DO NOT BEND THE KNEES IN VEHICLE MODE JUST IN CASE.

I'm sure this has already been mentioned but I can't find it... What paint should I buy for Prime's red? My back when out on me when I got up while holding 44 and dropped him a couple feet to the floor. Amazingly enough, the only sign of damage was a streak of silver paint on his red neck plate from his chin banging into it. I just need to paint over that silver scuff and he'll look good as new again.

Yep there is a fee, I think around $125? I believe it also includes a photo op with him. All details on website.

I think @Jarrod or @BrutiKing recommended this one. It's the one I bought:

I haven't had to retouch anything yet, fortunately! I have some minor scuffing on the gray painted area of the neck. I have a some scuffing on one of the toes gray part. Otherwise, my copy is perfect.

I'm hoping someone makes a screw cover for the pelvis sides. Similar to the Wheeljack ones that were reissued a while back.

I'm very happy with Studio Series SS-38 Bumblebee movie Optimus Prime. Doesn't it look like it has a hard-focus, high definition, realistically detailed, super lifelike, live-action quality to the sculpt? 20190904_225916.jpg @vvvTheONEvvv Doesn't this truck mode look realistic? Ever see any cab-over trucks with a headache rack? This truck mode doesn't have any robot kibble protruding from it. 20190904_201201.jpg

Thanks, Jarrod! It's just a small patch so hopefully any difference won't be too noticeable.

Personally, I think Mr Hobby's Red (3) is the perfect match for prime's red (get the acrysion version though). It's the red I have been using for my prime repaints and I think there is near to no difference imo. Just my 2 cents.

Blue unpainted, green painted. I can get some better pictures once I’m home if you’d like.

Looking back at my breakdown pictures, the thighs are diecast.

Also, there are two bars on the inside of the chest that are diecast. Those are connect to his red chest.

    Edit: I retract this statement.
