Not me. If you go back a few pages you'll find the original post using MP44 and then MP10. Then somebody posted the cartoon gif too...

Edit: had time to double check...Credit is due to @OptimusTimelord

    Thanks folks!!
No masking tape, they are pretty well raised so you shouldn't have a problem running a Sharpie over them without making a mess. May need a couple of goes, and if you handle that area much the silver will start to rub off (easy to redo of course, but for a more sturdy solution you may want to try some silver paint).

I grew up with Generation 1, and I was definitely not born in the 70s or 80s. But that’s why I’ve got my own vintage collection. Gives me the same nostalgia button feeling.

    Nope. No its not.

It might be to you (nothing wrong with that) but does not apply for others that have both as well (such as myself).

If push comes to shove, I can see myself being Voltron-"less". I simply never see myself getting rid of MP-44.

In other words, it's all subjective. Highly.

Huh? MP-10 in no way looks more animation accurate than any of the heads that come with MP-44. Neither does MP-01, for that matter.

I am SoC Voltron-less. MP-44 was worth it to me and I'm happy with my Lego Voltron.

Lego Voltron is ok, shame they had to restrict articulation from the original Ideas project.

Not sure how you somehow keep getting better at this, but you just did again.

No problem. First the feet. This is not very obvious but the shin assembly has to tab into the top of the ankle via these zigzag shaped grooves.

    20190919_094315.jpg

Next, I had two problems, the ab crunch joint wasn't tabbed in the waist and the butt flap was not beneath the faux gas tank. This caused the misalignment in the midsection. If your ab crunch joint pops out, you can just push it back down until it clicks.

    20190919_094524.jpg

The side kibble should be fully assembled before connecting it to the side of the cab. Reason being it may cause damage to this tab if done improperly. In fact I'll be separating the entire side assembly in one piece rather than in segments when going into bot mode from now on.

    20190919_094236.jpg

When done properly, these will groove into each other.

Lastly, it's important to line up the forearm manually to be able to tab into the cab sidewall. Easy way is to rest the front of the forearm with this piece that makes part of the backpack.

    20190919_100953.jpg

    That about does it.:)

Found one more thing. This piece seems to serve no purpose in either alt or robot mode. Hey it can mess up your transformation. It is on it's own swivel. It needs to be in the position as seen on the left. If not, you may have trouble tabbing in the zig zag tabs I mentioned earlier.

The 80s and early 90s rocked. They still rock. The Internet was fun at the beginning but nowadays it simply serves as a feedback loop that amplifies every negative feeling. I hope someone somewhere is working on a "Delete the whole Internet" button. He/she can do the development. I'll press the button myself.

This is the first time I've ever seen a clip of the Voltron cartoon.
I was born in 87 & have only heard of "Combining like Voltron" in tons and tons of different rap verses.

I don't think we got the cartoon or anything in the UK, I don't remember ever seeing it... maybe It was a little before my time even.
I see where the huge hit that was Power Rangers was inspired from now.
Thanks for sharing some knowledge guys.

Voltron was right before transformers and ran till 85. I remember watching the later seasons and reruns. Peter Cullen did the opening narration for it.

no need to be nasty. Is it so impossible to you that some may actually prefer MP-10? Nothing wrong with that at all.
