Wonder how long it will be before we see a re-release? I'm sure MP-36 was just a few months after the initial release.

 

Did you get a pin too? The only thing I received was the figure (nothing packaged with it), and in the box was the plastic containing all the figures and accessories plus a poly bag with manual and card.

Am I missing something other than my free t-shirt?

It is a double-tragedy if you actually paid $450 for it and the knees actually broke on it...

even though it doesnt concern me I hate seeing these stories. especially on these big ticket items. I find this to be unacceptable that Has/Tak never will address these issues either. the most expensive retail priced transformer to date, needs to be pulled apart and fixed. are you f*ing kidding me. \"prone to breaking\". that thing is too expensive to have be pulling it apart and fixing it. if I had an issue I\'d send that thing back in a f*ing heartbeat, demand a new one. and file complaint.

Ever since MP Dinobot\'s shoulder ratchet exploded, I have been very wary of Takara\'s expensive figures. Seems like early adopters always gets screwed.

 

If they're going to keep ratcheting up costs on MPs, they should probably stop selling figures with joints that explode.

Right? For all the people who crap on Hasbro QC at least there it's $20 figures instead of a $400 collection centerpiece.

 

So have we confirmed anywhere yet that the jetpack works on MP Sideswipe?

 

Damn I want to order this but the QC issues are freaking me out.
