Probably not until his actual release date, buddy, half the time we don't see the final boxes before the MPs are out.

I really love that they went all out and gave him his cartoon shaped helmet, really appreciate that attention to detail. So cool seeing these interesting shapes realised in 3D form.

 

It really messes with me how the “horns” are crafted and follow so many different dimensions. Like they bend up but it also looks like horns bending up when looking down. It’s trippy.

Mistranformed shoulders, holding the wrong gun handle. Someone was in a rush it seems, or didn’t know what they were doing.

 

wtf is that tape on his chin and crotch. Crotch doesn't matter much but ffs clean up his face if you're displaying your product in a promotional avenue

 

I really like the goatee he's sporting there. I hope it's in the final figure or I'm not buying it because takara sucks then.

 

Think the black is going to be a little glossier on release versus the stock pictures? The Autobots are all pretty glossy/ vibrant, but the stock iTunes the black was a little too matte.

 

Oh I think they do as well. They just confuse me.

Maybe. There is a difference between flat colours and flat finish. I do like the darker black here.

 

So is there an official date on this release? I know the official Taktomy page has late July, but curious if there was an actual date.

Is the black glossy, semi-gloss or matte?
Is the Autobot insignia a toon one with the flared forehead, or a toy-accurate one like the one at the toy show?
Do the effect parts feel solid? Do they attach well? Are they compatible with the guns of any older MPs?
Are the thighs painted, or bare red plastic?
Is there any sparkle to the grey paint, or is it just glossy?
Can he hold his gun straight?
