Same here, I cancelled my preorder after finding the TR version at my local TRU. Based on the precedent set by the Legends line and the Titan class especially I almost expected a last minute reveal of a bunch of tampos or a Brunt or SOMEthing.

Oh well, there's plenty of upcoming releases to look forward to!

I still feel like we're gonna see SOMETHING from Takara in regards to Trypticon. I think we're either gonna get a special version (maybe an EX release) that has the usual Takara upgrades, or possibly a Gigastorm.

I generally double up and collect both Hasbro and Takara releases. There have only been a few times I've passed on a version of a Classics/Generations figure. Having doubles lets me display in both modes, and I can appreciate the differences the variants have to offer.

... but I canceled this guy too. There just isn't enough difference (heck, if there's any at all) to warrant importing such a large toy. If he gets discounted later on, and if some subtle differences are discovered once people have them both in hand, I might try to pick him up in the future. But for now, I think it's the Hasbro version for this nerd.

Just picked up this big ass box from the delivery person. Guess I'll find out later if the hips on Dinosaurer are any good or not.

I love model cityscapes like that. If I had the money and the space, i'd have one and just make mini scenarios for my masterpieces.

I waited patiently for Fort Max to show up in Europe. That never happened, but KapowToys sold him for 100GBP last month and I got him that way, with their pre-set 15GBP shipping costs that is the cheapest way possible. I am content to wait with Trypticon too - firstly maybe a later release fixes the hip issues, secondly, as Devastator made it to Hungary, Slovakia and other countries here, I am hopeful they might release the next Titan Class after skipping the previous one.

That is amazing. Is it a model town for a model train set? Really nice work with the sky too, looks so real!

I usually use it as a playset for my Hi-Metal R Macross toys:

They're N-gauge model train set accessories (about 1:150 scale), and most of them come as pre-painted kits that are easily assembled. I've spent over $2000 USD putting my little diorama together... :drunk

...and it's still far from complete!

Niice! I guessed right that it is a model train set then.
Now do Godzilla vs Trypticon next. :D  Though not sure they made a Godzilla who is in scale to him...

    Wow made my Monday morning!

Just wound up getting 2 Hasbro ones from Amazon via a 3rd party seller shipping Prime for $134.50 each.

I usually don't mind paying the "TT Tax" but not on the same exact mold/parts.

Same here, ordered from amazon as well, 134.50 seems decent.

I know it will likely drop more, but maybe not? Don't want to miss out on this.
