Panels are Friday and Saturday

 

I was thinking the reverse, since we just had the Voyager/Leader reveal for Q1 2020.

 

Well, while I'm excited for Sentinel Prime, But I'll probably wait for the OS KO... or the MPM. Which ever comes first

 

The panels may be where the official reveals occur, but we all know via experience that picture leaks (and sometimes even official pics via Hasbro) tend to show up before the panels.

 

Sentinel shall go well with Megatron and Optimus.

 

Only ONE Wrecker?  Only ONE Bumblebee?  Perhaps they are no longer trying to Overload us.

 

I must be getting time zones wrong.

Personally not sure what all the hubub is about Sentinel. He isn't that spectacular a design to me, so I'm surprised his inclusion is such a praised thing. Glad for those who are excited, don't get me wrong. The wreckers are interesting, I hope bumblejeep turns out well. Bet he'd make a good standalone piece or dual display with an eventual Blitzwing. Honestly, my only want from this line, as unpopular as it may be, are the Twins in their various forms. Got a lot of sentimental value with collecting those with my brother back in 09.

 

I can understand why they may never do the Twins and why Hasbro might want to forget they ever existed, but it would be really strange for them to do nearly every single on screen character in the entire movie series, including some that barely appear in the same movie like the Arcee bikes, and then not do a Studio Series version of those two.

 

Honestly, I don't. They're very misunderstood and blown out of proportion (the tfwiki entries break down the controversy rather well, imo)

 

Yes but I'm sure you certainly understand why they were frowned upon and why any inclusion of them in the sequel was quietly removed. Plus that was the reaction they got ten years ago, I'm not sure they'd fare any better now.

But, at least toy versions of them do not talk and won't draw a lot of attention to themselves, so there's always a chance to still get them.

 

I get that much, I'm not naive. And hopefully. I really wish they at least got silent cameos in DOTM so we could see the new robot modes. That black with their color highlights would've been slick to see properly rendered.

 

Considering he and Megatron were the main villains of DotM, it's no surprise people would want a figure of him considering we've gotten several figures of characters with smaller roles.

 

Wait I thought there were rumors on here of a Twins 2 pack with their Chevy alt modes?

 

Lots of rumors don't play out, and so far nothing official has been listed or teased by HasTak.

 

I’m trying to cut down on Studio Series releases at the moment, but they’re not making it easy.

 

On the one hand I'm pretty happy that we're finally getting Sentinel. On the other, I really wanted him to be a leader class.

Ah well, just in it for the constructicons at this point unless they really put out another MUST have for me (like Jolt) because I promised my better half I wouldn't buy anything else.

 

i hope he comes with a gun this time around. like he had in the movie. 
 

 

Sentinel!! FINALLY!!  

Gosh, he's been my most-wanted Studio Series figure since the line started. Been waiting a decade for a figure that finally does justice to that character design.

Was hoping he'd be a leader, but then again, there hasn't been that much difference between voyagers and leaders lately; the leaders just come with some extra accessories at twice the price.

I just hope they got whichever designer is responsible for SS Ironhide to do Sentinel as well. That Ironhide figure is a work of art: solid, accurate, and amazingly well-engineered. That's how I want to be describing SS Sentinel six months from now!

PS. Surpised that Blitzwing is still nowhere on that list. But plenty of time for him!
