Looks like people who guessed volcanicus were correct. Rightfully so considering the teaser was literally volcanicus head with his swords.

 

Just repaints no new molding??? Lame it still includes the clear plastic that practically ruined volcanicus  

 

And that is a hard pass. Sure the comic will be fun at least.

 

That’s uh, really underwhelming. Considering you can very easily pick up a Volcanicus for significantly less than $100 I’m not sure how much this minor glow-up will really get people opening their wallets.

 

Don't see the point unless they're oversized versions.

The combiner feet are new, and there is a piece that wraps around Grimlock's dino head in combined mode (this piece splits in half and is on his arms in the group shot). They are also using the Seacon combiner fists.

 

He still looks like an anorexic mess

 

Volcanicus was the least stable and worst combiner of the Prime Trilogy. Yikes.

That being said, still like shiny things.

 

Great for those that missed him first time around, but I believe the OSKO may work better for some. Such a shame Grimlock, Slag, and Sludge do not seem to have new swords. May pass because there's too much stuff coming out and need to keep my wallet happy.:/

 

Oh, I agree. I'll be passing on this too.
It does seem strange they made new parts just for this half-hearted re-release.

 

I still find it funny how some people could think this was going to be something other than volcanicus.

Still think GCreation’s “Masterpiece Volcanicus” is the best version (just needs those big swords)

 

Might aswell buy an upgrade kit

 

I'm a sucker for both dinobots, minor repaints, and combiners. Call me an idiot because I'm excited about this.
