By Generation: TakaraTomy Flight Stand: Fix

    Hey everyone!

    Like many of you, I broke my flight stand pegs into the rear ends of my figures, and I've been working to create a cheap and easy fix that anyone can do.

    First, you have to remove the broken peg from the figure. I used a small drill bit and drilled into the center of the peg. I just kept at it until I was able to remove it:

    I watched this tutorial about using a pinning drill. I didn't buy one after seeing the price and used my own hand drill. The first figure I used it on I slipped and dinged up, so be carful:




    The other figures I was able to remove the pegs with an X-Aacto knife and pulled it out from an angle.

    Once that's out, it's time to drill a 3mm hole into the stand arm. Then, I just inserted one of these pegs I bought these off of eBay cheaply:

    It's not a perfect fix by any means, but it works well enough. Anyhow, I hope this helps anyone that has had this problem.
