Takara Tomy Encore News?

    I've recently gotten into the Takara Tomy reissues. Anyone know if any encores have been announced? I'm dying for a Wheeljack, sunstreaker and Mirage.

    Well, I'm not sure if Predaking falls under the encore line but that is coming out soon. No word on the figures you mentioned however.

    As much as I'd like a few more G1 reissues myself, I'm pretty sure it's done. This has been the longest time between Encore releases, or even hearing any news. There's just way too many other things on the horizon with the 2010 campaign (MP Rodimus, repainted Unicron/Primus, Predaking)

    Don't also forget the G1 reissue Seacons.

    Much as I'd like to see some more G1 reissues, looks like it's on hiatus at least through the end of the year.

    Yeah, I'd say its been long enough to officially declare the "Encore" series dead in the water.

    Takara's just busy with the 2010 promotion, the tail end of RotF, and Animated. There may not be a new Encore release until next year when things lighten up a bit.
