I would be curious to see if they do a Dialclone Re-Boot version. Raiden was the first combiner team made for the Diaclone line that became transformers. The cool designs, and the historical significance are my only connection so far to him.

It wouldn't take much to do that, at all... Some small tweaks, loose faction symbols, smaller seats... I'd probably cave and buy that. Not familiar with these trains, I'm curious if they are going to be close to 1/60 scale. I do not want the scale abandoned again like later vintage line. They could maybe even do a story and release as a "classics" with variant timeline story like Gridman.

    Ah, one for the head?
Also I'm not sure I'm familiar with Train Robo...

But I do know Rail Racer / JRX, which is a combiner of 3 trains.

Train robo was just the diaclone equivalent to Raiden i.e. basically the same thing outside of colours. Two bots form the torso with Shouki forming the upper body and Kaen forming the lower body + head.

Diaclone Train Robo (TF Raiden), arguably the first Diaclone 6-members combiner
released alongside with Construction Robo (TF Devastator)

    Giftset : Train Robo - No. 01 - No. 06
Train Robo No. 01 Tokaido Shinkansen
Train Robo No. 02 EF65 Blue Train
Train Robo No. 03 Tohoku and Joetsu Shinkansen
Train Robo No. 04 Tokai System Type-153 Express Train
Train Robo No. 05 L Express 485 Series Limited Express Train
Train Robo No. 06 DE10 Diesel Locomotive
Train Robo No. 07 Tokaido Shinkansen Plated Type / Tōkaidō 0 Series Shinkansen
Train Robo No. 08 ED67 Blue Train Freight / Limited Express EF76
Train Robo No. 09 Dr. Yellow Integrated Testing / Doctor Yellow 922
Train Robo No. 10 Kuha Type 111 Express Train / Yokosuka Line 113
Train Robo No. 11 Limited Express Type 583 / Sleeper Express 583
Train Robo No. 12 DE10 Crystal Type Diesel Locomotive / DE10 Diesel Locomotive

Based on the information we have, TFG-01 Shouki seems to be H0 / 1:87 scale,
quite smaller compared to 1:60, but then they have that large cockpit, just like the OG version.

TFG-01 bot-mode height is around 19cm, with train length around 30cm, priced the same as V-Shadow (19,800)
Combined-mode height should be the same as UW Devastator, and POTP Predaking

The only downside IMHO is the large autobrand, but then we have the VERY accurate Train Robo 01 alt-mode.

    still undecided T_T

Train Robo actually came out a year before Construction Robo.

the "hanger raider" seems to be the same one from the Ripper Release... so... barring a future independent release of the 'hanger'... we'd have to buy *two* Rippers and one Regiocore to get "one of each" of the Anode types... that's a bit vexing.

If you're talking about DA-86, it doesn't come with a Hanger Raider at all, that is showing you the repainted parts combined with the first ripper release.

I almost feel like that new Dark Cathode Ripper *is* black, if only to compliment the darker color pallet of Dragon/Ghoul... .They looked darker (more saturated in color?) than the original Gigantor.

I do find all the sword colors strange... I guess the vanilla Ripper has... teal/orange Dark Cathode Ripper has Gold and Green (but not that same shade of teal). Then the Regiocore straight up just has Red/Blue which i'd have expected with the Ripper to begin with...

Right. I'm just agonizing that now I probably should get *two* Rippers so I can have different colored Tall Bois... and the suit that actually comes with the second ripper will be my short boi. (Unless they start doing different Hanger sets ala Raptor/Bug head- which i'd almost bet money on).

I hope like others have said it'll be a lil one with the purple core, we'll see... watch it be a two-pack with another green one too.

I'm kind of surprised they didn't announce a TTM Exclusive Mega Grappler (DA-82). Maybe they'd consider that over saturation on the original suits/limb parts.

Also.. Wonder how the Hanger Raiders would work with the OG suits. they should theoretically have the same spacing for the core to connect to the back of the suit/unit.

who did you go with? Amazon.jp didn't seem to have a discount on it.. .though they mentioned shipping would only be 1500 yen (which seems a lot lower than it had been last time I tried ordering something overseas). Still wondering how much savings it will be compared to BBTS/TFSource. Hoping that the shipping congestion gets figured out sooner than later.

Also, did Amazon JP stop taking orders on the Ripper(s)? I swear I didn't spot them on the website.

Also comparing *some* of the newer releases... all things considered (at least for US) BBTS seems to be pricing competitively with Amazon.jp by the time you factor in higher shipping from Japan. Very curious.

Has the Diaclone/Gridman 01 set gotten around? What have been folks collective thoughts with it, especially in regards to cross-compatability. I keep looking at it staring at the fighter/hanger.... but the wing/gun pack doesn't seem quite as articulated as i'd prefer for cross-play.
