Actually, since in the mythos of the Reboot line this time there is an aquatic theme of sea life mixed in with the cybernetic, versus insects and dinosaurs from vintage, I want sea creatures and leviathans!

    Release the Kraken!

Also they basically combined Walderos and Machine Dragon into Gigantor...

Villains are normally under represented in toy lines... Luckily, excluding Gridman, everything in this line is troop builders! Also, I think we should see a Legion repaint, pretty quickly... I'd like a new Powered Suit for them, even if it is just Legion cores sold individually.

They just announced a brand new Waruder mech recently and they said that was the first of a new series so I'm sure we'll be seeing more of those soon.

If they would slightly retool those arms and legs (especially the "legs") and/or change the cockpits with tails to something new, I'd be all over that.

This looks great! I wasn't convinced from the silhouette but I really like the real thing.

The beefed up MAX-02 and M.A.V. are definitely my favourites, I think they're instantly two of the best ground vehicles in the line.

MAX-01 is okay but it just perpetuates a lingering fault I have with Diaclone, in that all the aircraft have laughably un-aerodynamic wings. If they're not tiny little stumps they just look like rulers with a jet engine on each end. Versriser Unit 01 is probably the best so far but even that is very narrow and doesn't look like it'd actually be useful for flying in real life.

I'd love to see a future robot be a dedicated fightercraft that something other than a brick with bits sticking out.

I just toss it up to having at least partial anti-gravity or tractor beam systems turned on repel or linking up would be next to impossible...

No, here's MY Machine Dragon... lol.

But, I do get your point... However, as the main opponent of the last wave of Diaclone, it's just not quite hefty enough. And, giving Gigantor a dragon mode was also a way they paid homage to that.

Shadow VMax should still be around for preorders. Battle Convoy is long sold out. If anything has a chance at a reissue, it would be BC but the Diaclone line has only ever done reissues for Flinger and Sting without actually doing a whole new release like Diabattles got in DA-11.

...You guys think Shadow V-Max would look good in Powered Greater? (I probably don’t have the space for DA-65's trailer, anyway.)

Actually, what would it take to get Takara to reissue DA-65? Like, a million Japanese tweets pleading for a reissue sans the trailer?

I know they are faster, but how is Robot Kingdom on shipping to US? High cost? I think they are one of the few I haven't tried...

Pre pandemic they offered a cheap option for shipping which would usually beat US retailers. Now it’s kind of hit or miss. I would recommend checking the shipping for individual items, because otherwise the cost can stack up if you ship multiple items. Nowadays you may spend the same amount, or maybe a little more than US retailers (I typically use BBTS). Also, if you order through RK, you will pay up front.

Very excited for the likely forthcoming Powered Convoy in proper Powered Convoy colors, but also happy to wait, as my pre-order queue across various websites has gotten pretty huge as of late. Ideally I'd love to see one release around May or June.

I highly advise not using robot kingdom if you’re not in Asia or Australia.

robot kingdom and amazon japan are the only stores I use, so I have hundreds of orders with RK, but for you my friend the shipping is definitely not going to be friendly. They’re already high to begin with after the pandemic and the unrest that Hong Kong was experiencing during the last few years.

you will order a 200$ toy and shipping will be half of that for sure. If it’s your only option for a toy that is sold out in other places then it’s worth it, as they do keep items in stock just a tad longer than other places, but otherwise it’s gonna be a ‘no’ from me dawg

Yes, for Australia, wherever you go, the shipping is going to be bad, so may as well save a few dollars with the cheaper prices at RK :p
They've turned out to be my #1 shop for Diaclone.

Just noticed my PO for DA-85 (corrected) on TCP disappeared, and cannot find it on the website. Anyone else have that happen?
