What you want to be looking for is a "Flexible Ferrite Sheet" as in something that is magnetically receptice not magnetic its self. I have been trying a lot of different versions to try and make some upgrade kits. However I have not found anything as strong (ie having as high ferro magnetic material in as the ones from takara) the sheets I have tried the dianauts fall off after about 45 degrees.

    Example:

Don’t do it, save yourself! They are in my oppinion the best toys for playing with and all of the interchangeability means that it’s very hard to stop at just one.

I started with the Big Powered DA-14, it is still the one I play with the most. I somehow feel that it got the most love from the designers during production. My personal oppinion is one that is expressed above by others: Get a bigger set first not the powered suits, its a much better introduction to the wonders of the line.

My preferred way of finding stuff is through Yahoo Japan Auctions, using a proxy buying service like fromjapan.co.jp makes it very simple. though you must search using the Japanese for diaclone: ダイアクロン

I appreciate you trying to help but I am able to search myself. The fact of the matter is they don’t exist. Thanks anyways.

I'm pretty sure they were just single unpackaged figures that were handed out to whoever showed up at the booths, there's nothing special about them.

I got a Destroyer and IMS coming through the post (eventually, I couldnt justify express delivery).Am I right in thinking that there wasn't ever a Dianauts set relesed for the Destroyer?

    Hello Everyone,

Due to Youtube's algorithms I was exposed to those CGI Diaclone videos having never heard about the reboot. I've already ordered DA-08 and DA-32 plus a MFT DA-20 to see what the KOs are like.

More unfortunately I've got a browser window with a dozen tabs open trying to coordinate buying the rest of the line and oh boy them prices.

How likely are we to see runs of older items? I'm thinking specifically of DA-14 and DA-19 (or any variant of Big Powered GV really).

I just wondering if its worth waiting for new recolors or buying existing items. I'm clearly late to this party so I'm willing to drop the money as necessary, but keeping this under car-down-payment territory would be nice.

Also is there lore/backstory to this reboot? If so is there an English version of it somewhere?

    EDIT: Looked who arrived early:

To date, there have been no reissues of any figures. Unless you count the Alpha plus release of battles.

So I would say extremely unlikely.

Welcome aboard. Unfortunately reissue / rerun of past releases are not consistently done by TT for Diaclone Reboot line. Best bet is JP secondary markets, like Mandarake & Amazon JP

Diaclone Reboot story is a continuation of vintage Diaclone stories really, but the designer(s) managed to skip the real-world aspects in Reboot :D

so below is the 1st part of vintage story translation

1980 - Diaclone Toy Catalog Scans Translation: 1980: In the beginning, Takara created the Diaclone… | TFL Blog
    up until 1983

Then the Diaclone Reboot story resumed during 2016 with DiaBattles V2 release, then translated below by MicroBry & gang

    Microman Club

or you can just read this thread from page 1 & take your time :D

Well that's not the greatest news for my wallet... but the Diaclones seem up their with Legos as top tier toys/collectables that can be passed on.

How rare are BPGV, his variants and the Land Crusader set? Something tells me those are gonna be the biggest cost, most of the sites (like BBTS or RobotKingdom) I've perused are out.

Was anyone ever able to help you out? I was able to do this. There’s a picture of how to finagle the legs too.

I never noticed this on my strike buffalo, because i never transformed it (i just bought It to get his legs as additional parts for my cosmo diabattles) but it's actually the first diaclone robot with breasts.

And now i regret i bought it. I mean, robo-boobs are always supposed to be shooting missiles, aren't they? 2v3lw4.jpg

:/ if you insist on things looking like breast then I guess it’s your brain. Sorry your brain is ruining a fantastic figure. :(

Given the arm-transformation gimmick it seems likely. I was really hoping for full on vintage colors, red and green solid limbs super garish. Gigantor is the best release so far.
