This is fun. Having nippers or sprue cutters makes a world of difference also. But let me say it again: Horus is fun.

I have used nippers/sprue cutters more since Feb 2023 than the rest of my life combined. I'm simply AGHAST that I ever used an X-ACTO to do that for my first Revell model kit back when I was a kid...

I use Toenail clippers... they work very well indeed for the task.

I used to use nail clippers. Proper nippers are so much better!

Reality: it's so tidy I don't want to spoil it

I don't mean the vertical square edge ones, I mean the ones that look very similar to trimming pliars they sell to the Gundam crowd.

Revell kits Not to be off topic, but I just got flashbacks to testor paints and poorly thought out colors schemes. I love the tangential moments of Diaclone where it takes me on these flights of random nostalgia, Thank you!

Part of what left me apprehensive about JP "model kits" back in 2000 was that fear of US model kits, super glue, fragility, rigidity (no moving parts), and Testors or Acrylic paints. I finally took the plunge on a 1/144 lot of my favorite Gundam at the time (Sandrock Custom) and learned about the CHASM of difference between Gunpla/JP Model Kits and American ones.

So when my first Diaclone purchase arrived - a Gamma Versaulter - I was thrown back to that same nostalgia.

Thankfully, those subsequent years of working with nippers on sprue trees made it quick and easy to clip and assemble the accessories. And frankly, a little fun! It was a strange paradigm as I built my Diaclone collection as I picked up some sets that are "plug and play" like DA-65 and DA-14 contrasted with literal model kit sets like Gyroceptor/CrossCepter, DartLoader/RapidLoader, and SkyJacket.

Does anyone need EX-Hobby Cloud Across sheets? I bought these when I thought he had said he wasn't planning on doing the ultimate cut ones...and then he went and released the ultimate cut version. They ended up coming out to about 24 each after shipping, so I'm asking 24+shipping in the US. IMG_2106.jpg

Hey just sharing the first in a series of four videos I created covering RBGX. This one is a DA-95 review, then I've got a DA-100 video posting soon, then one on the combo/GRBX, and lastly a video covering all the accessory sets (GX Sword will just have to be photos unfortunately).

But the idea is to provide a comprehensive overview for anyone that wants to learn about this playset/project. Maybe my kids can use it as marketing material when I die and they are trying to sell mine off lol.

It's been over three years since I made a video but have always been keen to get back into it. Hopefully the community (and those coming into it in future) gets some value from it.

Happy with any feedback via DM/PM to keep it off the boards, or throw a comment on the video in YT... with a set of this size I am sure to have missed something!

I'll have to watch then when I get home, any chance you also bring out the vintage for comparisons/contrasts? Or would that be spoilers :X

Loved your other videos you'd posted a while back.
