There’s a screw that needs to be tightened and then it will work properly. If I recall correctly, you just need to take the side panel off to access it.

I think someone here posted photos or a link to something that showed what needs to be done. I’ll search for it in a bit and will edit this post.

Edit: I started to search and was interrupted. Will search again when I’m able to, unless someone else has posted it by then.

Dia-Nauts are trained on the new defensive armaments (from DA-98 : Ground Dion: Reinforcement Unit A).

Not my idea whatsoever (i can’t remember where I saw it though) so will happily credit the creator if he/she comes forward, but here is a winged ship/bird mode I saw online that uses all the parts from da-98.

I may need to re-check the official site (and drag it through google translate again) were the trouble bubbles considered independent crafts? They look like they could. I still kind of wish the internal seat was on a swivel so when the guns are moved around the pilot stays oriented. I think that'd make me sick if I had to get spun around under the effects of gravity.

Very clever, almost surprised they didn't pitch that officially lol.

It really does, and I think the drills certainly add to that presence. I'm still not 100% sold on them functionally... but it also looks weird if you swap them out for the turrets (like Destroyer's).

A vehicle without wheels can become a hovercraft.
A brick can fly without wings thanks to EM levitation.
A spaceship can go underwater at 200 atmospheres just because.
But drills? There is no substitute for drills.

For me, the best Big Powered would be a VERS with Destroyer's double guns.
VERS' legs are awesome because they are a good compromise between manipulators and "land battleship" turrets.
PS: I don't have a single Diaclone figure, but often daydream about them.

I will certainly agree that the cannons/cranes on VERS BP are probably the most interesting/functional of the trio. A part of me does like the clamps/claws from Destroyer... but now that the waruder are starting to use bigger suits... it certainly doesn't seem as effective as it used to be lol.

If it's in your budget, any of the upcoming Tactical Movers all look pretty amazing, and have been a really good value for their sub $100 price.

I need to put together my Squad 03, and the anchor is the color scheme of Chariot Tactical Mover.
I am thinking of Desert Squad Power Suits and Trijetter, not sure what else - really struggling with this one. Any ideas?

(Moon, Hero, Caliber, Shadow and Cosmo Marine are excluded)

I'd actually lump Desert Combat Squad (tan) and Chariot (also tan) in with Cosmo Marine. While I've never had any of their older (mixed color) units... I'm guessing they're more along the colors of sand green (LEGO) and a more traditional green? Or did the old A/Bs actually use tan?

I've actually been debating mixing the Chariot/Airborne sets with their alternate colors. Though I think the tan Tread (Chariot) would look better paired with the CM Chariot greens for a bit of a 'woodlands' mix. Though you can still mix the black Chariot (expansion) with the Airborne Gamma's grey for a bit of an Urban/Low-Vis mix.
    ---------------------
Tri Jetter feels like a tough one to group (non D-Calibur ones). The White almost makes me feel 'Lunar Base' colors... but then it's accent colors throw it off. It'd go really well with those Spartan/Sky Jacket guys... but that's about it imo.

I see . Thanka, I might pool together a "Desert & Jungle Strike team". Black is all for Squad 00 - Shadow ops.

I almost wish we could swap arm units on the VERSaulter Units... but they're starting to meet us half-way with the additional armor plating. I think Garuda's 'light plating' (shoulders/shins) would be very versatile in many colorways.

Also... for some reason I'm really liking the idea of the shin knives more than the hip-mounted swords... maybe it's because it feels like the swords get in the way more? I'm not 100%. I do kind of wish we'd get more riffles. The shotgun looking weapons on that rumored new one... look really exciting.

Do my eyes deceive me... or is shin armor? Or perhaps part of the 'skate' unit to help further lock-in the legs?

In the current situation there are severe shipment problems in Russia, so I don't know whether it is realistically possible to order them here.

Finally got a Dion out to try DA-98 on. It's... OK? I was kind of hoping that I could put two sets on, but I don't think it'd work (or wouldn't work with all the parts or without it looking really silly).

I thought maybe the bubblegun pods would fit on the ankles on the back end, but one of the 3 bits that sticks out on the rim gets in the way (like the one at the top would get in the way of the armpit/torso gun platforms)... And the rim is just wide enough that when attached to the front of the drill vehicle, that the treads don't fit flat...

I half wonder if there'll be a DA-98B that'll make more sense of the gun clogs and fill that ankle spot, then combine as a whole for a sort of gun platform or something.
