Well my comment wasn’t so much as “lore” based but rather on my observations re: the releases so far. There are some who latch on to the flimsiest scrap of released information and clutch it as gospel… I’m firmly in the opposite camp.. one of the attractions to this line to me personally is due to the lack of established story lines and relatively scant information … the machines can be anything I want them to be. Nothing wrong with either approach but a matter of preference.
I'm cool with that too, the lore just tends to lead TT's decisions... I updated my last comment with my head cannon before seeing this...
Every time I've seen you write "head cannon" instead of "head canon" today, I've gotten this silly image in my head of Robot Base GX with shades down and blasting dual-blasts from, well, his head cannons That "Deal with it" gif from Fort Max first, and now the stop-motion sequence. Yes. The shades gimmick still remains hilarious for me.
Cosmo Marines are (in my head at least) expeditionary forces responsible for planet fall … hence the more mobile units … hero colors are units for the general administration arm that runs the mega cities and responsible for defence … the whites are the space-based forces MFTs are non-aligned colonists / separatists E-monsters are Mercs ( but that’s a discussion for another thread lol) like I said… anything and everything to anyone and everyone
Don't forget about White being Exploration/Science/Medical and Orange being Engineers/Mechanics! Oh, and Lunar Defence in the Prototype/Lunar colour! Regarding the TTM Argo exclusive, I was hesitant to buy the regular version as Dia-Navy never really fit into my collection. So probably not a Day 1 pre-order. That said, once if get regular Argo in-hand, I reserve the right to be blown away and immediately pre-order the TTM exclusive version tout de suite.
Here’s a video of the display at TTS. https://twitter.com/amicoamiami/status/1666653856145739776?s=46&t=T_lZ_CfhFRI2GZF3IuJX6A
Actually… wasn’t the prototype just covered in Primer? It wasn’t any special colors… it just wasn’t painted when it was pressed into service
That was how I treated it, as a prototype, not completed, but the paint applications also had it where you could use it other ways. The Moon Assaulter version of Buffalo was the mostly white one, so again, little consistency in the naming.
Thanks for the heads up. I had similar experience with nin-nin game that they asked me for additional shipping fee just before shipping out. Unfortunately there isn't many options for me living in New Zealand. I rather paying a bit more on shipping charge than missing out and have to pay even more via evilBay.
Yeah I had similar experience with Nin nin game but apart from this one additional charge for shipping incident, I haven't had any bad experience. But this time I have placed my order with CDJapan for a change.
Ah I've not had that happen from nin-nin yet. The shipping for da-95 was listed at about 13,000 and i assumed that (being the same kind fost other sites were shipping for) it would be correct. But i ended up ordering through cdjapan. And they did hold me hostage for more shipping, which I expected lol. But since then ive placed lots of nin nij orders, some of which had shipping i would swear is too cheap. But they just sent them anyway Maybe its just luck lol Yes currently for me they're saying around 6,800 yen for shipping. I know from DA-95 that they would ask me for around that much again upon release.
Am I the only one bothered by the faux bridge in vehicle mode? It makes the vessel appear to be trying two scales at once and it's visually disconcerting to me.
I'd be inclined to agree if TT hadn't done the Versaulter Tread in the exactly same deco. It doesn't hurt that I have two of the Dia-Battles releases so their group has a larger presence on my shelf than they might otherwise. So I say Lunar Defence! Being technically a made-up compound word of two concepts crossed together (X!), it's actually better served as a hyphenated word. Head-canon. Yay English grammar and spelling!
More pics over on the base building thread, but I think I’m pretty much good with this project for now! Hangar v2.0
