I got two of my sets today and both had the visor issue. I'm wondering if this is an issue with all of them and people that haven't reported it just haven't noticed, it's really not that obvious unless you are specifically looking for it. If you have poor eyesight like me, one way to tell if you have the visor issue is if the antenna is a bit loose, once the visor has been properly seated there will be a proper amount of force exerted on the antenna to create friction. I've been slowly building a toy repair tool kit over the past few years of german/JIS tools since even the Japanese companies can't seem to get their QC in check these days and these "soft" head pliers really came in pretty handy for clamping down on the head. You really can't do it by hand because of the force required, but also because it's such a small surface area and weak human flesh is too soft to properly apply force on that a small part.
I've been thinking of getting a set of those, so this is as good a time as any. Just ordered some from my list on Amazon.
I ended up swapping the pulse sword lasers on unit 2 and 3 since they always looked upside down to and kind of awkward to me.
Just got mine and visor fix was easy. Just watch out for the antennas. In all honesty… this is the cheapest feeling set yet. Felt like I’d break the arms putting it in robot mode, the legs feel super hollow and cheap in the thighs (feels weak rotating them at the knees), then had the visor issue and arm stress marks… looks cool but definitely the cheapest feeling set yet in my opinion.
I’m guessing this is storage mode for when he sits in the Ground Dion ab-hangar. The blue slots fit perfectly into the notches in the wings.
