Takara Tomy Masterpiece MP-44 Convoy/Optimus Prime Ver. 3 | Page 1537 | TFW2005 - The 2005 Boards Huh thanks to the Raiden thread.. .I thought were the biggest show in town... we're close! (looks like 2nd). Mine arrived last week (I was shocked Walmart didn't cancel it) Galaxy shuttle is an amazing piece, I really liked Astrotrain (i know some folks had their issues with it) but it's crazy what a fresh coat of (very different) paint and a head will do to a design. In Diaclone news... my DA-92 finally hit my PoL at BBTS... waiting until after all the crazy weather/holidays to ship it at this point... but man am I nervous. At least BBTS should be decent to deal with if I run into any feet issues... (though I'd hate to pay to send him back if I have to). Ah... man... I did not need a reason to go out and try and find Sunburst Dasher... that looks really great mix and matched lol
"IMS Big Powered wants you to have a happy holiday!" I know you mentioned it a while back, but congrats again! I'd almost want to try and hunt one down, but lines must be drawn somewhere. I do love that head design and the gatling cannons though. If he'd come with swappable hands (ye olde bullet fingers) it'd be a no-brainer for me.
They certainly can get pretty weird pretty quick. Kind of the same issue with mixing the tactical mover cores with TriVERS (though it's more using the TriVERS cores in Maneuver/Versaulter frames). But I really appreciate they let you mix and match to your heart's desire. They're not quite as fluid as the Waruder kits... but I find myself staring at a pile of parts and connectors with the waruders debating about what and how.... where as with the TriVERS/Diaclone chunks, there's more guidelines for x leads to y leads to z. I will say the fact that the Powered Greater unit specifically has parts that come apart and fold out specifically to integrated with other sets that it doesn't use for itself is a master stroke. Also if you have any of the VERS Risers don't sleep on those 'Launcher' brackets, those can go a long way with those slide cubes/ports/posts
I ordered one from BBTS and should be here any day now (assuming they don’t deliver today) as it’s at my local distribution centre (according to tracking). I’ll let you know if I have any issues! Merry Christmas! And? Is he everything you hoped for?
HasbroPulse put GS up for sale and pulled my cash on the 9th. So, I cancelled my Walmart preorder. A couple of days ago, HP cancelled my order and started process for refund, so now no GS for me... They said they sold more than they had and couldn't do anything about it. Heck of a Christmas present from Pulse.
Oh… wow… I’ve never had Pulse do that (but I generally miss their partner exclusives). Hopefully Walmart.com cane come back through again.
Thank you! This is a figure I've wanted for a while - especially this colour - and I was convinced I could do it some justice photographically versus the other colours of him. Nice to finally experience the Dasher mould, too. All the best Maz
You know, its not just Dasher. This time of year, theres Comet and Cupid, and Vixen, not just Dasher.
Annnd, no Diaclone Reboot. A little disappointing but not unexpected. It'd be nice if there were decently priced figures on Amazon US, since my folks gave me a gift card. The few there are grossly overpriced. Anyone know if you can use US Amazon gift cards on Amazon Japan?
But, you can use the Amazon giftcard for household essential items that you buy anyway and then use your personal money elsewhere.
could an Amazon US giftcard be used to buy an AmazonJP giftcard, then use the JP giftcard on amazon.jp? However, use amazon US to buy some things you'd normally spend money/credit on- then take that 'saved money' to amazon.jp (or importer of choice)
That does explain why their selections are so unique With both Dasher and Driller(Digger?) in-hand, while they're very different what are your thoughts, if any, between the two? Have you had a chance to enjoy Rambler (the 'motorcycle') yet?
Yeah I have Cosmo Digger, Sun Burst Dasher and Red Chaser Rambler in-hand now, all three are exceptionally fun and pretty toys. The Dasher probably has least leg articulation - especially the knee - of them all and was the most tricky to unpeg sections as it's all super tight, but I'm supremely happy with all three. They have some of the most satisfying robot mode proportions of any robot toys I've ever owned, to be honest. Some more of Sun Burst: All the best Maz
