I think the winged Gamma just looks better in the Cosmo Marine green... I'm enjoying having my Cosmo Marines back out for a bit. Probably will stick with them until the December shipments.
Tactical Carrier came in. After a bit of finagling, found a simple yet elegant way to carry a complete airborne unit with a single container: Ma ma ma M*sk, what an unexpectedly beefy unit. Feels like 80's Playskool in the best way possible.
Oh, that reminds me! I meant to post this photo tutorial for packing up a Gamma Airborne unit with all accessories and all parts that come with the Tactical Carrier. Then life did a thing and I forgot about it. Okay so for anyone who's interested, start out by placing all of these parts into the Fort Chamber: (Make sure you have a cereal bowl handy for proper aesthetic.) Next, plug the second mounting bracket piece into the connector from Gamma Airborne. Make sure it's oriented as shown so that everything fits properly when the Versaulter is added. Step three: Position the Gamma Airborne's arms and hip-mounted landing struts as shown in the first image here. Adjust the legs to the position shown in the second image (knees back), and attach the shield handles to the outside ports on the lower legs. Step four: attach the wings to the shield handles, with the wing bottoms facing outward so that the sloped edge is at the front of the Versaulter frame. Note the tail fin parts can stay attached. Step five: attach the shields to the elbow ports and orient them as shown in the front view image. Step six: attach the Versaulter frame to the Fort Chamber's small peg, close it up and hit the road! The only part not shown in these images is the bracket for the first-gen Raid Chambers that comes with the Tactical Carrier. I attach that to the bottom front side of the Fort Chamber when it's all loaded on the truck.
"Odd creatures walking tall..." This is a ridiculous toy on its own. I am having a very hard time hiding my distaste for the rising prices and growing scarcity of Drago Head. All the best Maz
Meant to say when I made my other post, I love the MASK reference and the carrier looks cool with those wings!
Found a way to get the whole Tread Versaulter with Chariot unit in one Tactical Carrier. It's not pretty...
Hope you weren’t surprised that no figures come with that kit. The instructions show you how to store those vehicles in the Raid Chambers. They then can attach to things like Diabattles or Big Powered amongst other things.
the instructions show how to assemble the two small toys and store them, but no information on what all the different ports of the hangars.
Received my DA-92 today from TCP. The ankles feel fine so far, but I'll end up ordering one of those screwdriver sets so I can open it up and see if it's okay or not.
That set was supposed to have figures and instructions, unless it was bought opened and incomplete... Parts inventory: Powered Suits Cosmo Marines Armament Set (DA-16) (Diaclone, Diaclone (2016), Diaclone Corps) | Transformerland.com - Collector's Guide Toy Info @puma - I just thought of that you may have been talking about suits for figures. There are more parts than store inside with both, if that is your question... You start a small parts bin. Then, eventually, you have 6-7 toolboxes full of stuff. (That last thing may just be me...) Just see if any of the feet are flopping around inside the leg of the red ground unit. If not, enjoy. I recommend taking your time and slowly going through each step of the book to see and enjoy all the molds and possibilities. You should be able to follow the instructions without any words not already in English, but if you really need words, use Google Translate app.
