It’s just a piece of plastic man… I know we are supposed to be enablers but most of us are middle aged guys with more disposable income than common sense. This is really just friendly advice but if you have to edge your finances just to make the purchase work then your money really can be better spent elsewhere. Diaclone (or any plastic toy for that matter) isn’t worth the frustration and angst that you seem to be implying in your message.
I can’t try and sell you because it would be like trying to convince you why I like the colour blue or why sushi is my favourite food. It just is. Either you like them or you don’t! That’s all there is to it! ☺️
Mainly the ankles. If you filter for DA-92 in this thread, you'll probably be able to find a ton of posts documenting this issue.
My frustration isn’t that I can’t afford DA-92 outright at the moment. It’s Paypal. And I mean telling me I shouldn’t want to or be buying something because I might be in a lower income bracket… I mean really dude. Please don’t try and tell me how to live my life. I said my post I had $250 to spare ATM. I didn’t say that was all the money I had. My bills are paid, my gas tank and fridge is full, and I have some set aside in case I need it. Then I have the $250. And the reason that isn’t more is because I’ve had to spend an ungodly amount on a car over the past few months, and was able to afford a Tfcon exclusive. I was in a tight spot, but I am finally free of it. Thats why I wanted to get DA-92 in the first place, to celebrate. And honestly? If I am short a little bit, but an online service provides a payment option to help consumers in exact this spot get what they want, why would I not take it? Using the system to your advantage, thats playing the game the smart way. You just gotta keep on top of it make sure you only do whats within your means, something I always do. And I will admit that I am mad, but I am mad at Paypal because every few months they screw me over some way or form. And it’s frustrating when you do everything you can the right way for someone, and still get punished for it. I mean wouldn’t that make anyone upset? EDIT: And to make it clear. I get your trying to be helpful, and I appreciate it. It’s just been a long day and I’m just tired and frustrated.

...It is almost midnight and DHL delivery is still "out for delivery"... LOL - it is Halloween, but this is some crazy holiday feature. Note: Being silly. I'm bummed, but not angry or anything. We live extremely rural. We are usually one of, (if not the), last stops on their routes. Normally, if a package isn't delivered by 9pm, we get an update stating rescheduled to next day due to a delay. I'm sure Halloween had an impact on their very spread out route and delayed it until after their shift and they still had an hour+ to get back to the town they dispatch from... It is just unusual not to get a notice or update. (Actually, I'm hoping the driver is okay. Unfortunately, email is the only contact option after hours and no one sees it until business hours.)
Had a similar situation with my GX Mazinkaiser SKL. They may not update for a while. Hopefully it shows tomorrow. DHL has to come from a separate city to do deliveries in my area.
Like I said… just offering friendly advice: take it or disregard it as you like. You’re free to rant in a public forum and others are entitled to reply as they like within the confines of the forum rules. It’s your money and your life - spend it as you like.
I'm close to buying a Gigantor, but I just know that midway through shipping they'll announce one that will not only be cheaper than current prices, but also has improved part connectivity and better fits with the color scheme I have in mind.
Nah, I get why they do it, and you're right that they're far from the only company doing it. Heck, if they have to do so they can keep the aggressive release schedule going and costs to the consumer down, I'm okay with it. It's mostly just realizing that Takara seems to be increasing the practice where they can use it. I haven't really had an issue with it, most of a 'oh, huh' than anything else. But as a few others have noted it's a bit 'extra noticeable' with Powered Greater's wing boosters. As other's mentioned there's an issue with the ankle(s) on the inner Battle Convoy. It's a bit a roulette game on opening the ankles to inspect that is any better than 'just leaving them alone'. But some folks have reported that the ankles have been broken straight out of the box. I'm still waiting for BBTS to get it in. If the ankle is busted, I'll likely send it back and ask for store credit or a refund if they're willing. I have a feeling we may being seeing something pretty different from them next time. Kind of like how the Diaclone forces have leaned into the VERS play pattern. I think the Legio Core is the next play pattern for Waruder. I would like to see them try something interesting with the Gigantor feet being individual units. I'm also still shocked we haven't gotten Ant Heads (arms) separately yet, even if as a TTM exclusive.
I'm sure something new is coming. They teased an opponent for Great Robo Base, and we still haven't seen the mecha shown in their emblem. You have a point with Ant Heads, since Big Powered's leg vehicles were sold separately.
Yeah, the ignored demand for the Ant Head/arms being sold separately, is a real head scratcher... I think at the right price point, and/or what else is packed in, the desire for troop building would be massive. If they were to also give us some Waruder equivalent of the bikes and I could see crazy demand. They could then resell the bike-like things in a troop pack. (I'm still amazed there hasn't been another troop pack for them, other than the first Expo exclusives, too.)
It would be a little weird... but even an Anthead with a wormpod (sans outer suit) would be interesting. Or if they wanted a different way to get that Berserk(er?) figure or the little carrier/tank with raptor head re-released.

Really like these chunky trucks. They're honestly what I like most about the line. After these and the black Tactical Mover Gamma I have in my PoL at BBTS, the last pre-order I have is the new Waruder Legion. I believe that will be it for me. It's been a fun ride, but GRB has priced me out of the hobby. Not that I can't afford it, but with getting back into Warhammer 40K and becoming serious with painting again, the money I would spend on Diaclone will be much better spent on my return to miniatures.
