Hello all! In case anyone else is looking for them, the new ExHobby versaulter sheets for the tread versaulter and chariot units were released this weekend.

They also did some extra sheets with numbers and additional options for the shoulders (these are currently sold out).

Also, it looks like there will be new “lite” versions of the scaffoldings available soon.

Kurata’s latest video showcases the versaulter sheets (near the beginning) and even the new scaffoldings (at 12:10) so check it out! (Looks like the lite small size is perfect for the versaulters.)

As always, if anyone outside of Japan would like help getting them please contact me via PM!

Looks great! Can I ask what you’re using for the background in that display?

I picked up some backdrops on eBay I had intended on using as backdrops in photos but that never happened and decided to hang them up behind the diaclone. It lends itself better here I think.

I purchased a warudaraptor and it came with these two joints that I don't think is in the parts list for the set. Does anyone know which set these belong to or are they even diaclone parts?

Those go to the Waruder pod suits. They’re used for connecting more that one suit together for the combos.

I also like to pretend they are guns on the front of the suits.

So I finally got around to getting spin pusher set and was able to fix my DA-47. Luckily my other 2 tridrillers were assembled correctly.

It took me almost 3 years to get this done.

Apologies for replying to my own post! (Just an effort to keep info together.)

There are two versions of the lite scaffoldings: A-type and B-type. They are both the same height (between existing S and M sizes, which makes them perfect for versaulters). A-type is more or less what you are used to (with the addition of a couple of 3mm ports on the sides) but the "B-type" one features 3mm ports on top (on one side) instead of the magnetic walkway. You can see both versions in the video posted above.

It sounds like we will see the next batch in 2-4 weeks and there is a little bit of a queue, so drop me a note sooner rather than later if I can help :)

Took me a while to finally getting around to watching the video... wow those are very tempting. I think I'll wait till folks get the first batch in-hand. Just by 'eyeballing it'. Does a small+VERSaulter=medium? It looks really close. I think I got my current count off, because I was thinking medium x2 = Large... but I think that's a small+medium. So I need to do an inventory.

I'm getting a want to try and stack some of the smaller ones up, but now I'm wishing those bottom plates had some 3/4mm ports on them (instead of just the new ones, and those alternate...'toppers'?).

I think you are right - I believe it is a small plus a medium to make a large. (And 2 mediums make a large plus a small, which is perfect for VC Big Powered). I think a small plus a “lite” (versaulter size) is a medium too, and I think it should work, but without having them in hand I am not 100% sure these will stack with the originals (I’m not sure they have the same dimensions). If stacking them is your goal, I would wait until the next batch so we can confirm everything!

As for how to stack them, they all come with magnets to install in the base, so I don’t see the need for ports for this purpose.

    Hope this helps!

*Edit: Actually I think it is 2 mediums = a large plus a small. It might be a medium and 2 small make a large - I don’t have a large on hand unfortunately, but here is a pic:

    *Edit again:
My first edit above was right - here’s another image:

I really do love some of those combinations. The next trick would be trying to integrate the bridges... but since they have a thickness to them... not sure that'd work out.

Also a valid point on the dimensions for the Versaulter 'lite' scaffold.
    -----------------
Yeah, given how dense those pillars are on the bases, I think my dream of trying to get armatures 'mid deck' won't fly unless we're able to stack the new ones, since those will have posts along the sides.

Also, just FYI it looks like someone on Amazon.jp has some of the ExHobby sheets available for international shipping- but there is a huge markup. I can get them for less than that and they have pretty bad feedback so I don’t recommend using them.
