They won’t do that. Pushing this into too many seperate sets will push people off as they won’t be able to get them all. Considering Grand Dion is $450 of pure waist and leg, I’d say there will just be a second set that is the full complete upper torso. There will undoubtely be more accessory kits like Dia Guardian though.
I’m fine if they just do GRB in two sets (if it was DA-100, for example). That would still leave a decent amount of time do save up for the top by padding out the line with 4 smaller sets in between. What is DA-92 missing?
Yeah, I'm sure we'll see another new machine set to tease the upcoming announcement of the top half. Hoping for Diaattacker since we're getting remakes of classic ground vehicles with Ground Dion.

It isn't missing anything per se, but it's the only way you can get a powered greater that matches V-shadow. Which would be fine and all if they didn't decide to sell the set as a 2 pack with a random convoy repaint.
DA-92 is Powered Convoy. This Convoy is meant to represent the blue cab from Powered Greater, but with the red replacing the black as to also homage the Powered Convoy armor. But I will admit that I am frustrated we have been robbed a properly colored Powered Convoy. It seems the only way you can have one in original colors, is to swap parts from V-Shadow and Powered Greater. And if you me and like those releases as they are, that means buying two, of all three.
It's terrifying how tempting it is to buy just one more figure with this line. Playability and customization makes it all seem worth it.

Business wise it makes more sense to sell as a set though, since the shadow vmax came and went 10 months ago. Less people would probably buy the accessory set on its own, especially if the can’t get, or don’t already have a VMAX. Plus, now we get a new VMAX, which is a great toy on its own.

Actually maybe adjustable expansions. don't use the last hole heading towards the end so you can flip up the flight deck and show off the more 'Capital Ship' guns underneath. Bewtween that and the 'Rolling Thunder-esque' missiles... Thaaat is a lot of BOOM.
