LOL... TT hain't got time for that. You're thinking of LEGO, (that bought the biggest online resale marketplace, Bricklink, and then started underproduction to drive up demand and get a piece of the boosted aftermarket via that site). If TT owned eBay, yeah... I know there are folks in this thread that buy extra with the hope price goes up and can resell later to try to break even. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. (Not saying everyone. Some resell at or below MSRP.)
Just caught up with the DA 95 announcement. This thi g is even more ambitious than I was expecting, and that's a good thing. I'mnot actively collecting Diaclone, but this seems one of those release you'll regret missing. Of course, everything comes at a price, more specifically over 500 euro at Amazon.jp, which would push the total price for the complete package at 800-1000 euro depending on how much the upper torso and arms are going to cost. Still, we only live once, right?
I mean… $1,000 for a toy the size of a toddler… and with the added benefit of not having to feed it, cloth it, or change it’s diapers.
Was just wondering - if they do a Dark Cathode version of WaruderVajra, how the heck can they make it darker than it already is?
I’m curious to see how that length with the double trailers stacks up to Ground Dion ——— definitely a warm… I’m not even sure I would call it grey… a very light beige? Compared to the definite blue/grey of the Treader. I’m in love with the chibi tank though. Fish nets and tea cup
I think they're going to make an anode version instead, probably takara tomy mall exclusive since the cathode one is the normal release.
Darkest Cathode!? ——————— I caved on the fomo… and picked up Red Chaser…. Almost feel like I should track down the original at this point and ‘finish the set’. But there really is something really nice about the red (and Blue of the D-Calibur) version that really works for me. This was originally going to be the one TriVERS release I was going to skip… but between members here (we’re such enablers lol) and finally getting to clear looks at both heads (Via D-Calibur). I decided to go back and get this guy. That smokey cockpit looks really good too. the double elbows and knees really go go a long way to giving this mech a lot of character —————— Maybe it’s the silver on the raid bikes… but I’m feeling a little underwhelmed by them. They do everything as advertised- and technically had more moving points than the Ride… Falcon(?) version 2 bikes…. I’m more excited for the red and black versions though.
Thinking about how they'll release the upper half of robot base has been driving me crazy. I reckon it'd be cool (and easier on the wallet) if they released the arms and torso as separate mecha, with optional accessory sets (ala DA-93) building up to DA-100, which would be the head. Just praying that they don't try to pull a DA-92 and bundle an important part of the set (e.g. the head) with some other stuff.
