I think it can be done. But doing it well and up to the same standard as the others may prove difficult. They have to hide the giant head and the giant wings almost entirely and then they’re gonna have to do a Dinobot type “flip everything inside out” type of transformation but only this time the alt body itself is tiny and mostly made up of a head and wings and the robot body is mostly made of parts that you can’t see at all in the alt. It’s not going to be easy. But man do I want to see them try.

 

Ok, Armada Optimus looks AMAZING, and I don't have much nostalgia for Armada.

However, if they do this in the Powerlinx colors (either region, don't care), I will be all over it.

YES! It seems like Star Convoy and Armada Prime are two different figures which is all kinds of awesome. I've been waiting for updates that gives those characters the justice the original toys lacked and it seems like my wish is finally true.

Star Convoy seems like a retool of POTP Optimus which is fine I guess but I hope they improved some of the issues with the mould. Voyager Armada Prime is simply perfect, no complaints, I guess a 3P could give it a proper trailer for Super Mode if it doesn't come with one.

You make some really good points. For example, you look at MP-22 and how Ultra Magnus' transformation has him rotating around from facing backwards -- it is just like they showed in the cartoon. That kind of faithfulness is important.
