Exactly both versions are good tarkara's aren't really any better just different and that's cool to see. But in my opinion is unless you are super anal but colors or just like these colors better none of these are really worth import prices but if you got the money go for. But i am happy with the hasbro version. But I really hope takara shows some more re-releases of old molds.
Roadbuster looks to have a more of a G1 scheme going ,but the orange looks off. Rather ironic that Takara matches theirs up more with the original. Also the visor for the eyes looks different, more a solid band. Its subtle, but liking Takara's more. Also like the more G1 baby blue Whirl as well.
lol yea. there really isn't a reason to import the takara. i like them both, because i think they look really good together. as they look like they're directly from that one anime. but i see no reason to import most takara's stuff though. unless it's on clearance.
Heh. I think it's just contextual... but it seems like whoever was in charge of the wave assortment saw Whirl and Roadbuster, and decided to go for a Dorvack three-pointer. zmog
I knew I couldn't be the only one who saw the potential for Bonaparte Tulcas in Generations Tankor! Now if only someone like Cheetimus could make these repaints happen...
Looks like I'm not the only one wanting TT Scoop, which is great. Can't wait to get these (I might even get Tankor, just because TakaraTomy's paint job is so much better). I've been waiting so long to finally get ahold of these moulds (without importing from the US, which costs quite a bit to ship to New Zealand). Stupid New Zealand retailers, skipping tons of Transformers releases.... Ugh.
They look good. But I think I'll be happy with just the Hasbro versions. If only they would drop already...
I couldn't agree more, Peaces just likes to disagree with others all the time. He just wants to be different for the sake of being different that's all, sometimes his postings veers on the nonsensical.
Those darker colors and tampoed insignia on Roadbuster may be enough for me to bite on the TakTom version. I freakin HATE stickers!
Lol at those Takaratomy haters. LOL. Try hating on something else because you know, Takaratomy always wins. Period.
Not even close. Generations Scoop is SLAVISHLY close to his G1 toy; the only differences are the scoop's color, the fenders (the G1 toy didn't have them) and a bit of paint on the head. That's pretty dang rare in a Generations toy, and it's why Scoop is one of the few that can make the transition without any real trouble.
Meh. Hasbro's version of these are just fine...in fact in Whirl's case it's better...the blue canopy lining and feet look ridiculous.
Are u ok dude? Is it some kind of hobby of yours to disagree with others all the time? Does it give you a high or something, a feel good feeling? It gives you the attention that you feel that sorely lacking in the forums?
