8000 Yen plus shipping is gonna be pretty pricy. At least 2x the Hasbro release cost.

That said, I go with the moons. There's a scene in GF that pretty much makes it obvious why you might want two Primus toys for the extra that the Hasbro version has...

 

here's an assumption of mine. maybe the something extra is a floating Unicron head. As a plus, maybe it'll be interchangable with Primus's head. something like that might make me buy two of him. one with the Primus head and another with the Unicron head.

if not, then whatever it is i'm sure it'll be cool non the less.

i'll wait till next year, something primus-sized is way too much to import for me, may try to pick him up from uk ebayers or toy shows, i only bought unicron cos he was reduced down to a sensible price over here eventually

I swore I wasn't going to "import" any more Galaxy Force toys, but I dunno...

My real concern with Primus is that even (almost) a year from now, what if the "plus-size" Starscream is still clogging shelves like it is now, and stores decide not to order any more of the Supreme size items because of it? I mean, yeah, recent history dictates that there probably won't be any hard-to-find Supreme class figures (original colors anyway) but just the same... ??? Plus, there is the fact that- and I'm guessing here- this will be towards the end of the Cybertron line, and the final figures don't always make it into every store: I never ONCE saw an Energon Galvatron figure in any store. I had to get mine on eBay.

And yes, I am both impatient and paranoid. Can't wait for the breakdown..

I hope that's the case, because I really don't want three Primuses... unless there's some packaging difference between the two Hasbro ones I buy, or it's a repaint for the following year.

 

Strange I thought the Takara version was canceled? In any case it would be sweet if they can issue out all the characters for GF...

Now that is interesting. Looks like I (among a few other people?) was kind of right. He's the first Cybertron of all time, so they went with C-00 to cover all lines  
Wasn't expecting unique packaging. But, I can see this being a good sales gimmick in Japan. Supremes were shelfwarmers there, right? Tossing in a dash of nostalgia with a pinch of "OMG MOST IMPORTANT CYBERTRON EVER" = At least moving more than the average supreme, yeah?
I hope it at least mentions Galaxy Force somewhere on the box. Even if it's just a sticker.

 

I know someone that would kill for some kinda official transformers, moon designed free hand yoyo's. You know who you are.
