Aaron Archer said it's something that will make us want to buy two of Primus. There's a lot of speculation that the "something" is a moon.

As in Moonbase 1 (or 2).

It's actually all the original decoys. Except they're all either autobots or decepticons per box. It's gonna be quite nice actually. He tell me.

But that would be cool, wouldn't it? I'd be pumped I loved those little guys (even though I only had one and I kinda chewed out his face... poor smokescreen/prowl/whoever)

Wait...why pay more for a toy that's going to be here in a few months anyway.

Did anyone not see this coming? As if Hasbro would fund a toy of this size by themselves.

If Takara makes an official announcement of some sort, then I hope Hasbro goes ahead and shows what Archer was talking about (the "you'll want to buy two" thing), or else I'll probably just go with Takara's version.

Especially if it ends up having better paint applications.

Oh I had no doubt whatsoever that Takara would release a GF version. Takara not do Primus? Yeah right.

Maybe that's why we'll want two of him... the Takara version for better paint and the Hasbro version for whatever this awesome extra is. Or probably not.

Strangely it's numbered "C-00", as Nevermore briefly points out. C would denote "Cybertron", as in "Autobot", rather than the planet "Cybertron". If that's the case, he should be GC-00 to denote it being in Galaxy Force. If it meant to be "Cybertron" the planet, it should be "S-00" for the Japanese since the planet is "Seibertron".

I think the point of the matter is that Primus is the first "Cybertron", and in G1 (and Car robots) the Cybertron's only had the "C-#" designations. By making him C-00 he comes before all of them... follow?

As for the colouring, chances are both versions will have the same amount of applications. What will vary is the colour of plastic used and the quality of said plastic. Hasbro's version could very well end up looking better.

Yea, that's possible too, which makes it seem like they wasted the chance to make Micron Legends Unicron "X-00".

    A Moonbase.

    Both are molded on.

But if it were up to Takara, Primus' would be a smooth ball. Hasbro said Takara's initial design was a plain ball with no major cities, until Hasbro requested that they add the comic cities like Iacon in.

Which does not sound like a lie - Takara wouldn't really care about stuff that only existed as named and unique locations in the US comics.

I don't know why but people (fanboys) just do not appreciate the work Hasbro does.

If Hasbro does something bad, fanboys give them hell. Yet if they do something good, well, its expected of them and they deserve no real kudos.

Some people should just move to Japan, then.

Would be a nice slap in the face style wake up call :D
Not to stray too far off topic, but anyone who has dreamy visions of Japan being a geek Utopia should really watch at least the first episode of the J-drama Densha Otoko/Trainman (which is currently being subbed by T-N).
