Maybe they can put Jeff the Diseased Lung on Exhaust. That would beat any livery that I can think of.

Oh I do have a pre-order secured through a Japanese middleman I'm just wondering if I should cancel the one I have with Captured Prey to pay off the one I have with the Japanese middleman. The site I used has a pay later option and I'm wondering if it'd be better to just go with them since they can get it out faster with less hassle.

By all means cancel your order with Captured Prey. Then you too can be part of "HLJ Shorted My Preorder 2: The Revenge" in theatres March 28th.

Ah, gotcha. Is your other preorder through Nippon Yasan or someone else? With NY, paying ahead of time via their pay later option doesn't seem to speed up processing with them.

Off topic but that's not even remotely true.

John Oliver has a show on HBO on Sundays called Last Week Tonight.

Stephen Colbert was replaced by Larry Wilmore. The show is called The Nightly show.

Dude, check out his other videos. His show is on HBO, but a lot of the clips are available on Youtube. John Oliver is terrific. Started as a Daily Show correspondent, took over for Jon Stewart when Stewart took a leave to direct his film, and did such a good job at it he got his own show. And it has been great and biting almost every week. It's essentially Daily Show, but with profanity and no network limitations, and with a whole week to prepare its segments (so they're a bit more polished).

Anyhow, on topic, I'm curious to hear more news on Exhaust. I hadn't noticed till this week that TFSource dropped their pre-orders again... they seemed to keep it up for a while even after the second round of PM complaints, so I figured maybe those complaints didn't have any teeth. Guess I was wrong. Like others, if it's not going to be able to be sold in the US either way, I'd love to see them go back to the original deco.

Since when has HLJ been a middleman? Or Japanese?

    Someone else.

It is Hobby Link Japan, right? They definitely aren't a middleman, but definitely are Japanese.

Ah ok. I'm familiar with certain sites than others, but as long as it's not HLJ normally I'd say you're set, but given the other issues surrounding this release, it may be best to wait until it ships before you cancel your CP order, in case something weird happens.

Yup they are based out of Japan. They certainly appear to work US hours, or have some employees that do, considering myself and others receive payment requests and the occasional correspondence during the daytime, but the actual company is in Japan.

Has anyone actually asked if HLJ will be honouring their pre-orders for Exhaust?

I didn't go through them but I'm pretty sure they did say they are.

My order is still up and waiting for the release date. I didn't inquire specifically, but assume it would be, otherwise why keep my pre-order open?

So much angst and worry over this figure. I have a feeling the secondary market for this guy will skyrocket when he is finally released, then come back down to earth once people realize that, whether through eBay or other channels, he is readily available.

the company is japanese, the people who own /work there....not so much as far as i can tell. IMO, they are a great place to order from. They ship so much stuff EMS i think they have discounts with EMS...cheapest EMS shipping from Asia you will see....so even if their price is more than anime export or amiami (for example) by several bucks here and there...usually the cheaper shipping makes up for it...expecially the more you order.
