You kidding me? I WISH this guy looked like an alternator, at least he would have rubber wheels and wouldn't be the size of a deluxe-plus. It's a shame to see we're the MP line has headed I wish Takara told me 8 years ago when they gave me mp-01 not to get used to a foot tall figure with a shit ton of metal, rubber, chrome, and gimmicks cause in 2012 your gonna get a toy that looks like the one u bought last week at Khols for 8 bucks. Maybe then I wouldnt feel so let down. This is a big disappointment. I guess I should wait till RK gives me mine before I pass judgement. Just reeding "plastic wheels" makes me cringe.

Great review Star Saber. Seems like TakaraTomy is going for a more toyetic approach to MP's without dumbing them down. Works great for me! Will probably get Sideswipe in the near future after I get more funds.

 

I love that the missile launcher can be raised or lowered.

He's imported. I recall some Binaltech figures being around the same price.

Well my friend, I do have eyes, and he sure the hell looks like one. Now, if u read my post I stated I shouldn't pass judgement since RK hasn't gave me mine yet. Ok.

Yeah, this guy looks more voyager class than deluxe. Especially now.

 

Yeah, I was being lazy, but then I wasn't the only one in that two-step.

OP already confirmed it's for transformation purposes in alt mode. Red's 'crazy lights' just slide onto his little horn things.

 

The more I look at this the more I want them to revisit Hot Rod in this scale. Here's hoping.
