Worst. 'Masterpiece'. Ever.
I'm contemplating on gettting a masterpiece megatron myself. That way, if I ever want to do something like draw Megatron, I would have a toy to look at and be able to draw him. I want a Megatron that is accurate to the cartoon or the comics, not something that has a diffrent kibble like classic Megatron. Is masterpiece Megatron useful for drawing or is there no toy that can help me draw him?
Revoltech Megatron makes for a nice 3D model.
I tried for years to like him.
Tried to appreciate a transformation that seemed to be a test of plastic tolerances rather than skill.
Tried to like an aesthetic that no matter what ultimately made him looked like he had an eating disorder when squared up against his nemesis.
Tried to pose him without his waist fleeing from it's connection port faster than Perceptor, Bumblebee and Brawn getting the hell out of dodge in Microbots.
Then he started rusting on me and that was it. I have very few buyer regrets. This was definitely one of them.
Thanks for all the help guys!
one question how much metal does he have?
I mean he looks like a completely metal figure but i hear is mostly mad of plastic.
It is mostly plastic but the Justitoys adds a lot of weight to the legs in botmode, which helps it to stand much better, and a lot of weight to the handle in gunmode, which makes it feel a lot more hefty when compared to it's massive size.
I say agin, if you do decide to buy it, you MUST buy the add on kit.
Easy fix for that.....mod a Megs G1 cannon...it's more in scale to the figure and makes posing a hell of alot easier:
As a display model he's awesome. As something to 'play' with? Not sure I'd wanna be transforming him alot.
