Why not? The people who want God Neptune want him for God Neptune. Adding a white lobster as part of the bundle bumps up the price for a character who didn't exist until earlier this month. That risks driving away fans who desire accuracy but doesn't really draw any new fans to offset that. Nobody bought GN assuming Lovehammer was coming. And I would wager nobody declined GN because they didn't know if a Lovehammer was coming.

So you get the best of both worlds: People who want GN, and just GN, get him. And people who want Lovehammer could potentially get him separately down the road. And if we never get him, that's fine...because we understand he's a curiosity in the Selects universe and demand may not be enough to justify a production run.

Because even if Takara announced him tomorrow, the first confirmation of "Lovehammer" was in the Selects comic released on June 2. That's about two weeks for people to factor it in to their decision on GN.

 

If we get the final member in God Neptune colors I'm completely there for it.

Hopefully TT announces Lovehandles soon. I’m all for adding new characters to the lore. I love Off-road and Alpha Bravo and Megatronia, etc.

Remolding/new tooling is possible, Scylla got some and the Comic also makes the 6th members fate ambiguous. He’s last seen being abducted so I could see him being released as an Evil version under the control of the entity that abducted him.

 

In the comic, White Convoy said to use the power of the Silver Matrix to rescue Lawbhammer. When he is reformatted, will he have much more silver/grey (compared to his crew) and be considered part of a Silver/Grey Order (Planet)?

 

I went ahead and canceled my preorder. I lost interest in this with every new photo.

For both, without mods, using Manta Ray as weapon holding arm would be more stable as he can pseudo lock his combiner 'elbow' into place.

 

We are just about a month removed from the last entry in the Selects comic and I think I join all y'all in voicing my impatience with learning who these Primitives are.

Just tossing a note in here: That last Selects comic that teased "Primitives" sure makes sense now that we know there's a whole slew of beast molds coming for Takara to work with.
