Is this news or has this already been figured out...cause I did not know we were waiting on something else?

Or is this the Masterpiece Rodimus Prime we are waiting for?

We've seen this graphic before. And the wording below it basically says, "New masterpiece item". It's Rodimus.

With a release each month starting in July, does this confirm MP Rodimus for December?

Yeah this is the 2010 lineup product page. Each month or so they've added one or two new items to it. It first started with Unicron and Convoy Sleep Mode, then Primus, then the two Sons of Cybertron sets (with the Classics one not being clickable to some time after), then Predaking (which was up for a while before you could access the page), and now we're just waiting for MP Rodimus.

Does anybody else think that MP Rodimus is a clue that we might get MP Galvatron? His G1 figure was kind of a joke, still cool, but it desperately needs to be updated. An MP Galvatron would look awesome next to MP Rodimus. I'm curious if he is reserved for that empty space.

 

The empty space is for MP Rodimus.

New MP molds come out like maybe once a year(or 18 months or whatever).

I'd guess Galvatron is a decent general option for a future MP since he was a leader/main character, but he's not coming "soon".

 

Still, we've come a long way from waiting three years between Optimus Prime and Starscream. I never thought Masterpiece toys would end up being a long-running line back in 2004, never mind a line with releases this frequent.
