Yeah... I think you're probably right about all of that.

And after driving in Montreal for 8 years, I still feel like I should be wearing a helmet and 6 inches of bubblewrap when I get into the car. :)

I don't think I've preordered anything that fast before. Except maybe Revoltech Rodimus.

I seem to agree with the general consensus; it's definitely a vast improvement over the original, but still far from perfect. I don't know if it's just the monitor, but the red appears to be far too much, and far too bright. And do I see a silver chest flap, even though the rest of the fig is grey? That doesn't seem to make sense.
I'm repainting my original in as close to what I consider 'perfect' colours as possible anyway, so I'm not in any rush to snag this fella.

I'll have to go and have a look for the other JP Classics figs now...

Murphy's law: Any announcement of a TF that transforms into any kind of gun will be followed by hundreds and hundreds of posts arguing over toy gun laws.

Well, Murphy never did make that kinda law, I just made it up, but you'll be hard pressed to find evidence to the contrary! :D

My rule of thumb has always been as such: "Murphy was an optimist."

That is to say, not only will anything that can go wrong. will go wrong, but that anything that can go wrong, will go catacismically wrong.

Well anyway, it's basically one of those unwritten rules of the fandom...

Sure, there's also the "any new series will be met by gargantuan amounts of bitching" but that's hardly specific to THIS fandom.

I just got my Henkei Megatron from HLJ, and I couldn't be more pleased. The red and the chrome really aren't nearly as egregious as they look in the pictures. That being said, I'm still considering whipping out my paint markers and seeing if I can discreetly black over the more visible red parts in Gun Mode.

Nice to have a bad guy to take on my army of Rodimuses.

Nice to see you finally got him. :thumbs2:
You really should have posted this in the feedback forum because this is now a very old news thread.
